Old time splendor

We arrived late and were welcomed warmly. The next morning the owner gave us good directions and even called ahead for us to check on road conditions. Breakfast was nice with splendid view of river.

Dølen Hotel-et ærverdig hotell med sjarm og særpreg. Bærer preg av at det er gammelt. Det var veldig innesperret luft på rommet og en gammel lukt.Teppegulv. Hadde trengt en oppgradering/oppussing. Restaurant var veldig fin og nymoderne, imponert av maten, den var skikkelig god. Rent på rommet og badet. Veldig hyggelig personal

Verdt å dra hit bare for maten!

Utrolig godt fornøyd med oppholdet på Dølen Hotel. Vi fikk rom 12, i 3.etg med flott utsikt over Otra. Nydelige omgivelser. Fantastisk god mat i restauranten. Jeg reiser mye og det er sjeldent å oppleve så godt tilberedt mat i en hotellrestaurant. Verdt et besøk bare for maten. Hyggelige folk som tar deg godt imot. Fiskestang ligger ved bryggen om man har tid og lyst til å fiske på egen hånd. Anbefaler på det sterkeste Dølen.
