The staff is really nice and pleasant but the room was dirty. It was hair in the bathtub and the sheets on the bed was DIRTY. I would NEVER and I mean NEVER stay at a HYATT HOTEL AGAIN IN MY LIFE. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE CLOSED AND REMODELED ASAP. Don’t allow the pictures to fool you. This place is old and ran down.

The hotel is very clean and well-located. However, the front desk staff provided a very poor experience. They were unable to locate my reservation and even went so far as to suggest that I might be attempting a scam, simply because I had booked through Orbitz — a platform they claimed not to recognize. Check-in took over two hours, and the staff handled the situation with a lack of courtesy and professionalism. Eventually, it was discovered that the issue was with their system, not with my reservation.

It was a horrible experience for me and my family, it's on the highway so you have to play Russian roulette coming and going, my debit card info was stolen the first night I was there and I had to order another card, the toiletbowl couldn't flush sometimes, some of the electric sockets didn't work, the pool was shut down for GOD knows what and we where there for two weeks, the breakfast was horrible... All in all it was one of the worst experiences of my life staying in hotels and I advise everyone to avoid this place like the plague.

It was good for one night. Beds were comfortable. We were there for a concert at MetLife stadium. Breakfast wasn't anything fancy but it was sufficient. Coffee was good.

Don’t accept lodging in room 141.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the past 8 years. It’s a very comfortable space and usually pretty reasonable. This last stay was slightly disappointing in that we arrived very tired after a very busy day. We stay in room 141. The room was fine as always, but there is a very bright outdoor spot light outside the window. So it made sleeping, even with the room darkening curtains difficult. The management needs reposition or relocate that light.

Ok so we stayed at the hyatt fairlawn in paramus on 8/27/25 to 8/28/25. The staff was very nice and helpful. They do an excellent job of keeping the hotel nice and clean. They even accomidated our early arrival even though they were completely booked. Now for the bad. I booked this hotel in February. When booking there wasn't anything mentioned about the pool being closed. They only mentioned that they had a pool with a handicapped lift. The workers claim that its stated on all platforms however when i looked thats not the case at all. Theres no mention about it nor did i get any type of email regarding the fact that the pools closed due to "maintenance" issues. I was able to look at the pool from the outside and saw that it looks perfectly clean and fine. They sate that its been closed since November of 2024. I cant understand that a hotel chain that has 100s of hotels in the US cant get a pool fixed for almost a year when making so much money. Our main reason for choosing this hotel was because of the pool. Had i been notified i would have went somewhere else. I also got 4 more friends to stay here as well. So that was 2 more rooms booked because of me all due to the fact that we were excited to be able to go swimming before our concert. Then wake up eat breakfast and hang out at the pool until check out. I do feel they lied to us only because the hotel was booked out. They cheated us out of a main amenitie however we werent compensated or anything for this. Bad Business
