Awesome property...fantastic staff...great food & facilities...IceQueen Morrison was a godsend for us there...the negative should not reflect on Riu or this property...folks who visit just need to realize that most Jamaican workers earn around $100 a week...wonderful people who love life!

The property is nice, and the workers take every measure to ensure it's clean. They're also very friendly. The one major hiccup is that I LOATHE the Riu app. I know that the resort itself has no control over that, but it needs an overhaul. If we're expected to use it as guests, I expect it to be usable. Other than that, I would definitely visit this resort again.

We had a great time at the new Riu Palace Aquarelle. This resort is designed very well for vacationers of all types. There is something to enjoy for everyone. Pools, beach, waterslides, kids pools, dining, etc. The service level was very good overall, A lot of the staff we met were very friendly and outgoing. They looked genuinely interested to make our vacation a good time. The life guards were super friendly. Many of the staff that said hello and acknowledge you. Even the service guys painting and working would say hello and give you a little fist bump. The waiters and waitresses on the beach and in the restaurants all worked so hard to make sure we were serviced well. The restaurants were good overall. The evening entertainment was good overall. You can tell that they put a lot of effort to create shows for our enjoyment. They took a lot of pride in what they created and were amazing. Great energy the entire show. The singers and dancers in all the shows were excellent. The DJs for the late night beachparties and by the pool during the day were great. Live bands were excellent. The effort with entertainment was visible and appreciated. The beach was very nice except there are some large random rocks on the ocean bottom. Need to be careful. It may make sense to bring water shoes. We enjoyed spending our days on the beach and roaming back and forth from the pool areas. Overall, the beach was good. The Front desk staff were helpful

I didn’t like the stray dogs on the beach. One of the dogs actually peed in the sand. Sniffing around and laying under chairs. Did not like people walking on the beach selling stuff. Other than the two issues it was nice. We really enjoyed ourselves.

The beach is full of rocks. DEFINITELY WEAR SWIM SHOES. The food in every restaurant we tried was not good.

I really enjoyed this Riu hotel the staff was extremely friendly and so accommodating. The food was great at the buffet and other restaurants. The pool/beach was really great and you can bounce back from either all day. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a chill vibe in Jamaica and the staff was really friendly and amazing.
