Holiday home "SAN GALLO"

The house is located in the historic center of Soligo, the epicentre of the Prosecco hills, in
the foothills of Mount San Gallo. The area is renowned for its beautiful walks and bike rides
in nature, tours of wineries and gourmet experiences in the local restaurants, especially
those that provide a farm to plate experience (known locally as ‘agriturismo’). Nearby points
of interest include historical tourist routes (exploring the history of the 1st World War). In the
house, guests will have complete privacy and independence to enjoy all the services
provided.
The space
The house is a very spacious 3 floored living area (150 sqm) with an outdoor veranda to
enjoy the beautiful sunsets and private off-road parking. We provide coffee, tea, milk, bread
and jam for your breakfast.
The neighborhood
Katy’s place is located in Farra di Soligo, Veneto, Italy.
Soligo is a small hill town, bordered by copious vineyards and wineries, set amongst the
beautiful rolling hills of Veneto. This region is world renowned as being the home of
Prosecco DOCG. Wine tastings and tours are available for those wishing to try the best
Prosecco and other local wines. It is a truly unique place where nature’s colours vary with
each passing season. The hills are accessible for hiking with easily marked trails for you to
follow. We are also close to Lake Revine, where you can swim and bath. For those in seek
of culture, every July the LFF film festival (Lago Film Fest) is held close by. A valid
alternative to the sea in the summer heat is the “Fontane Bianche” an area of outstanding
natural beauty along the Piave River. The river also offers the ideal location for rafting or
canoeing.
Getting around
The town of Soligo is 15 minutes drive from the motorway (A27). Following this road south
will take you to Venice and to the north Cortina D’Ampezzo in roughly an hour.
