Staying at this finca was a peaceful and grounding experience. Tucked into the hillsides outside Fasnia, the property is built into a series of caves—something I’d never experienced before—and it immediately felt like a private sanctuary. Each cave has its own purpose: a cozy master suite with a small kitchen and full bath, a second bedroom with its own ensuite, a BBQ kitchen for outdoor meals, and even laundry facilities. Everything was thoughtfully arranged and stocked with essentials, making it easy to settle in and feel at home.There are three outdoor living spaces, each on a different level, and each offering its own perspective of the landscape. The views are absolutely stunning, you can see all the way to the ocean, with nothing but quiet all around. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unplug, breathe deeply, and let time slow down.The road leading up is narrow and winding, and I’d recommend taking it slow—especially if you’re used to wider roads. But honestly, that little adventure is part of the charm. Once you arrive, the serenity and uniqueness make it all worthwhile.If you’re looking for a stay that’s off the beaten path, full of character, and wrapped in nature’s quiet beauty, this is it.

Slice of paradise

If you're looking for a place to recharge your batteries this is it. Took a bit of finding (keep going to end of the road when you turn onto Camino del Chamizo) and the roads are very steep, but was worth the effort. The house is well equipped and spacious. The views from the outside area are spectacular. Would definitely recommend a stay here and we will hopefully be back.

Tranquil,relaxing cave home with all mod cons

We loved staying here. Beautiful views over the gorge, gardens, sunny aspect with cool interior- even the washing machine has its own cave! Great to sit outside and relax for breakfast in the mornings ,coffee and evening sunsets. Lovely area with lots of walks. The owners, who have restored this cave meticulously, were on hand if we needed anything- we didn't. Its in a hilly area with slopes so make sure you have enough power in your car rental to get up and down these and in and out of the property, which has a good parking area. We changed to a VW golf which managed perfectly. We would stay again.

Very well appointed cave in rural mountain location with fantastic views down to the east coast

Lovely property. Altitude (around 2000 feet) gives great views but can make for coolish nights and the drive up from the autopiste takes a bit of nerve - I wouldn't like to do it in the dark. Make sure your car has an efficient handbrake, you'll be doing lots of hill starts. Everything you could possibly want is provided at the cave, which is actually four separate caves on a different levels connected by the outside stairs, paths and landscaping. The east coast doesn't get much attention, but is quite attractive up in the hills, though difficult to get about. The local villages are very quiet! If want want to see the sights you'll get to know the autopiste very well. For a get away from it all hideaway, it's perfect.

Peaceful, unique, cave houses; beautifully refurbished; not overlooked; good views.

There are two caves with separate front doors. Both are fully renovated. The upper one has a living room with a kitchen area, a double bedroom and a large shower room; the lower has a double bedroom (twin beds) and large shower room. All well equipped. Steps lead down to an even lower terrace, with another cave that is furnished for BBQs. The owners were very helpful, and came immediately when we wanted help to log onto wi-fi. We had a very peaceful, enjoyable break. The road for the last km or so is a bit steep, but caused no problems at all. It all adds to the character of this ancient property which has been restored so carefully.

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft mit sehr guter Ausstattung

Die Anfahrt war eine echte Herausforderung. Aber glücklich angekommen, haben wir genau das vorgefunden, was wir gesucht hatten. Ruhe u. eine saubere Unterkunft. Die Höhle ist erstaunlich gut mit allen möglichen Küchengeräten ausgestattet. Alles war sehr gut gereinigt. Was nicht so gut funktioniert hat, war das Internet. Die Vermieter waren zwar erreichbar, aber wir mussten beide ein paar Stunden am Tag arbeiten. Dafür mussten wir sehr oft auf unsere mobilen Daten ausweichen.In der einen Woche im März war das Wetter so hoch oben auch sehr kühl. Bis zu 10 Unterschied zum Strand. Aufenthalt im Freien, war nur gut angezogen möglich.Ich wünsche den Vermietern, dass sie weiterhin Gäste bekommen, die diese Unterkunft respektvoll behandeln.

Einfach Fantastisch!

Von Mitte Januar bis Anfang Februar haben wir in der ausgesprochen schönen Höhlenwohnung zu zweit gewohnt. Wir haben den hervorragenden Blick sowohl aufs Meer als auch den Nachthimmel sehr genossen. Die Höhle hat uns alles geboten, was wir für unsere Zeit benötigten; von den vielen Küchenutensilien bis hin zum relaxen im windgeschützten Außenbereich. Erstaunt waren wir über die herrliche Wohntemperatur in der Höhle im "Winter". Immer über 20C! Als Hamburger aus dem sehr flachen Land haben wir die zum Teil sehr steile, enge, mit etlichen Schlaglöchern versehene Asphaltzufahrt mit einem Toyota Yaris (leider sehr tiefer Spoiler deshalb sehr langsam bergab fahren!) bewältigt. Beachten sollte man den Anliegerverkehr! Wenig Ausweichmöglichkeiten! Vorher gucken. Wir haben häufig 300m vorab geparkt. Insgesamt Abenteuer pur! Unsere herzlichen Gastgeber haben uns mit Zitronen und Eiern sowie bei dem längeren Aufenthalt noch mit extra Bettwäsche versorgt. Auch die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos. Insgesamt einfach fantastisch! Besten Dank.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Das Haus ist super schön und das Klima in der Höhle ist sehr angenehm auch bei heißen Temperaturen draußen. Die großen Eidechsen an den Felsen vor dem Haus sind beim Frühstück sehr schön zu sehen. Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist vor allem in der Nacht sehr anspruchsvoll.

wunderschöne liebevoll eingerichtete und ruhige Ferienhöhle

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der kleinen aber feinen Höhlenwohnung sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist einfach ausgezeichnet ausgestattet. Es gibt in der Küche einfach alles. Die Aussicht ist wunderbar, bis runter zum Meer und in die Schlucht und man hört nichts außer dem Bach in der ferne. Die einzige Schwierigkeit bestand tatsächlich darin unsere Sachen zu verstauen, da wir eine Zeit langzu viert in der Wohnung waren und dann keinen Stauraum mehr hatten. Aber wenn man darüber hinweg sieht ist es kein Problem. Auf der Terasse haben wir den ganzen Tag über die Sonne genießen können. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen!

nice place!

we had a lovely time in this cave house. everything we needed was there. the road to get there is narrow and steep, but we got used to it. the terrace was mostly sheltered from the wind, which was great to eat outside.

Endroit très calme offrant une vue superbe et un bel ensoleillement. Voiture indispensable , commerces éloignés. Accueil agréable et propriétaires charmants. Petites pièces rustiques mais tellement romantiques . On s’y sent bien ! Nous aurions apprécié de rester une deuxième semaine. Bravo.

Super Aussicht, sehr einsam, Küche etwas unorganisiert aber Alles da

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit dort. Tolle Aussicht. Wer es einsam mag ist dort richtig. Etwas schwer zu finden und schmale steile Anfahrt. Dafür sehr einsam, was wir schön fanden. Olga haben wir nicht kennengelernt. Ein Schlüsselkasten am Tor hat uns die Schlüssel gegeben und bei der Abfahrt haben wir sie darin auch wieder deponiert. Wenn wir Fragen hatten hat uns Olga per Mail oder Whats app sofort geholfen. Vielen Dank! Es wäre schön gewesen auf dem Tisch ein paar Informationen zu finden. Was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat war ,dass die Schränke in der Küche und im Bad sehr unaufgeräumt und voll Sachen von abgefahrenen Urlaubern waren ( deshalb der Stern Abzug). Ansonsten waren die Höhlen sehr sauber. Die Höhlen sind nicht geeignet für sehr kleine Kinder. Außerdem wird es mit 4 Leuten sehr eng, da man nicht weiß wo man sein Gepäck lassen soll. Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage dort. Danke Olga!

Die Unterkunft bietet alles, was man benötigt. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft. Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier richtig. Die Anfahrt ist abenteuerlich, aber mit dem passendem Auto machbar.

uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, es war alles vorhanden um den Urlaub zu genießen. Die Betten sind bequem. Waschmaschine und Trockner neuwertig. Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier richtig. Die Aussicht ist sagenhaft, man kann sich super erholen. Die Anfahrt ist etwas schwierig, sehr eng und steil. Man gewöhnt sich daran aber es ist eine Herausforderung.

Insgesamt sehr positiver Eindruck. Kleine Verbesserungsvorschläge: Auch wenn der Platz beschränkt ist wäre es gut eine Ablage oder kleinen Schrank für Wäsche vorzusehen. Küchenschubladen könnten etwas besser gesäubert werden.

Wunderschönes Anwesen mit herrlicher Ruhe

Wir verbrachten unsere ersten 5 Nächte in diesem herrlichen Anwesen in den Bergen und würden es jedem empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach Ruhe und absoluter Privatsphäre ist, das Wetter auf der schönen Terrasse war herrlich zu genießen und die freundliche und hilfsbereite Art der Vermieterin hat uns die Anreise ungemein erleichtert. Das Haus bietet alles was man braucht und bei Fragen stehen dir Vermieter einem mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Wir haben die Zeit genossen und würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen!
