Inaccurate listing, suprise! unlisted rules :(
I announced my arrival time an hour before arrival, and she said she would be there. I reminded her when I was 15 or so minutes out, and again she said no problem she would be there.
On arrival, no one was there. I had to wait 15 to 20 minutes.
Her written communication skills are terrible. She wouldn't call to clarify.
She is renting two rooms with a shared bath. I was somewhat lead to believe it was a private bath, but again, the terrible written communication.
I'm imunno-compromized, and announced it. She, her grown daughters, and the other guest wouldn't wear a mask in the house.
THEN, she pops house rules on me that arent in the listing. No eating food in the room. " because of stains and insects" HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO EAT NEXT TO YOU IN THE KITCHEN WITH NO MASK ON AND NOT DIE???
I ate in my car.
I dont know exactly what VRBO's covid policies and requirements are, but she'violating them, and other contractual items.
I feel I am due a partial refund.
Had I known the shared bathroom, or the no food in the room rule, I would no
Ma'am, get a gallon of bug spray and use it every six years. Charge 10 times the cost of removing stains. I work 12-20 hour days, and will finish that cheese burger on my way to bed. I'm too tired to stop walking only to restart agsin.
VRBO, Please:
Get me back a portion of my wasted $ because of the risk of my health and the wasted time eating in my car, seeking alternative accommodations, etc. I would have left immediately, but could not find other accomodations, despite my continued search during my stay.
Thoroughly review this listing for accuracy and house rules.
Have her fix the unsafe condition of her front stairs tile. It's a slop and fall lawsuit waiting to happen on concrete stairs
