This brand new two bed, two bath home was designed for gatherings and events with handicap accessibility throughout. No transitions from the front sidewalk to the rear patio. Wide open spaces make getting around easy. All the doors in the house are 36 inches wide with pocket doors. The main bathroom is fully accessible. The bathroom faucets are ergonomic and the mirrors are lighted. There are tvs in the main bedroom, great room and garage with surround sound in the great room. The laundry room includes brand new washer and dryer and also a mini kitchen. The faucets in the kitchen and garage are lighted with temperature color sensitive lighting. Blue/ cold and red/ hot. The dining room has a table and eight chairs and there's five chairs at the kitchen island and four stools at a bistro table. The living room has an electric fireplace with remote control and a fold out couch with two love seats also.. The garage has a large tv and couches and granite wet bar for entertaining. Dish TV is provided including some premium channels. Kitchen is ready for all your creative baking with all the small appliances and dishes you could need including some basic baking supplies. There’s also a large pantry filled with preparation and serving supplies. There are two large bedrooms with queen beds and touch lamps with usb ports. The second bathroom has lighted mirrors and a tub/shower. Don’t bother cleaning or worrying about your home not being accessible or your guests being allergic to your pet. My spouse and I loved this property, it was the perfect place to unwind between our daughter rehearsal, and wedding. It is very well maintained, spotless, and had a lot of space for all of us to unwind after two really long days. Rusty’s Getaway was an awesome place to stay for our daughter’s wedding weekend in Findlay! The house was VERY clean (I’m pretty particular), spacious and had everything that you could need! We loved the huge master bedroom and the on suite bathroom was super nice!! (Especially the shower!) It was an added bonus that the house is pet friendly. We got a chance to meet the owner- Jay. He was very thoughtful and talked to us about the house history… Rusty is his adorable pet cows name. If you’re looking for a great place to rent - check out Rusty’s Getaway… you won’t regret it.

Summer stay for family wedding and reunion

We had an excellent experience at Rusty's Gettaway. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. The property is beautiful, clean, and furnished with comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen/laundry room are fully stocked, which makes the rental experience that much more relaxing and convenient. There is ample parking and a nice patio with a quality grill.We highly recommend this property and will definitely book again when we return for future family gatherings!

Impeccable, beautiful home. The floor plan is perfect for a family gathering. Spacious, private bedrooms. Plenty of sleeping space with several luxury air mattresses available in addition to sleeper sofas. This house could easily sleep 12 people. The kitchen was perfectly appointed. Even my adult grandchildren were impressed.

Easter Family Reunion

The owner/Jay was wonderful. He answered all my questions and responded promptly each time. The property was perfect for our family reunion. We had 21 people for our Easter meal, games. The house was clean, very expansive and had everything to prepare the meal. The kitchen island is huge and fit everything. Many places to sit and enjoy ourselves. Bedrooms were a nice size with plenty of room, storage, and nice closets. The front and backyards were also extra space for games. Plenty of parking space too. The location was perfect. Our family also loved the home and said itcwirked out so well. The owner keeps a beautiful, well maintained property. I would highly recommend.

Labor of Love

Jay met us at the property and gave us an in-depth tour of the home he build in memory of his father, and what a spacious and well appointed home it is! It is well stocked with just about everything a person might need including spices for cooking, coffee, new appliances, toys, a grill, and so much more. The master shower is massive and can easily accommodate persons with disabilities. The neighborhood is quiet and a short drive into town. Jay himself was easy to communicate with and an excellent host in every way- he even invited us to his farm to hang out with his miniature horses and 5 black cats among other animals, but when it came time to leave he insisted there were no chores to be done! We often stay at Vrbos domestic and international and we have never not had to do chores at check-out, nor have we been in a home as beautiful as his. Without hesitation we will be booking this property every time we come home for a visit!
