This was booked for both my husband and myself for our second year wedding anniversary. My husband purposed to me at the Flinders. We stayed in wilpeana Pound which was lovely and we thought we would try Rawnsley Park Station. Wow, wouldn’t quite be the word…. We stayed in the eco villa and I was at a loss for words by the magnificent views let alone the beautiful villa we stayed in. We will be returning in 3 weeks time but this time we are taking the kids so then they can experience this magnificent part of our beautiful country and learn more about our land.

Exceptional stay

Full marks to RAWNSLEY Park Station for what turned out to be a wonderful stay. The eco-villa, far exceeded our expectations, so much so that we booked a fourth night while there. The quality of the lodging in itself is worth the price but we found that every element of our stay turned out to be even better than we could have expected. I would definitely recommend a stay at this establishment.

Great location within Wilpena Pound with beautiful views. Restaurant was excellent. Unfortunately our toilet was faulty in our cabin & needed to be refilled manually (only found this out after hours after a delicious meal in the restaurant). There is a walking trail to somewhere (signs end after the start) but never really got to the lookout so can’t comment about that.

The accommodation i had was well equipped and had everything i needed. The fridge will wake you up all night its so loud. The local trails are easy to do but the signage is poor and needs maintenance , especially from Rawnsley bluff carpark.

In a unique location surrounded by the most amazing landscape Rawnsley Park offers a high standard of service and accommodation. The beauty of the Ranges is breathtaking, and seeing so many emus and Roos was a special experience. We really didn’t want to leave.

Rawnsley Park cabins

Really pleased we decided to book rawnsley Park. The luxury cabin was ideal. Not sure the standard cabins are worth the saving although they are closer to the small pool and restaurant. Views of the ranges are excellent but over the road, cars parked and BBQs so bear in mind. Overall would go back again as really enjoyed our three night stay.

Truly a magic stay. Highly recommend staying at Rawnsley! The rooms were moderns and clean with a deck overlooking the property with emus, kangaroos, and numerous birds.
