Renters Beware!

At first look, this place seems good! However, not so much. The kitchen is not very well stocked - nothing to cut cheese and only one bowl so we had to have our morning granola one after the other. The shower is about as big as a cruise ship shower and almost impossible to shave your legs in. I "folded" myself in half with the back of my head against the shower wall - good thing I'm flexible! But the KICKER is the electricity and the temperature of the bedroom upstairs. It is the top floor of the building and COOKS during the day. You cannot have the air on while you are out because the magnetic card key must be inserted into a slotted device on the wall for ANY electricity to work. Everything turns off when you leave. I understand this is a great way to conserve energy usage, but if it's warm outside (and tourist season usually is) sleeping is next to impossible due to how hot the bedroom is. Once you return, the air conditioning unit is not strong enough to cool the room because it has been cooking all day. In the evening, you cannot open the windows because the bugs fly in. The last night we were there, we couldn't stand it anymore and turned out all the lights and opened the windows for a cool breeze. We woke up with dozens of mosquito bites! We reserved this place for a week and ended up bailing and checking into a hotel for the last 2 nights because we needed rest. I would strongly caution anyone before renting here.
