Tämä ihastuttava ja tyylikäs koti tarjoaa vain muutaman askeleen päässä Ponte Vecchiosta, Firenzen historiallisen keskustan “Oltrarno” -puolella, ja tarjoaa kaikki modernin maailman mukavuudet yhdistettynä rikkaaseen 1500-luvun historiaan.

Tämä koti oli aiemmin 'Forni Reali' tai kuninkaallinen leipomo, joka palveli Mediciä ja myöhemmin Italian kuninkaallista perhettä heidän miehittäessään Palazzo Pitti. Se käsittää 130 neliömetriä (noin 1399 neliömetriä) ja siinä on 3 makuuhuonetta, joissa jokaisessa on oma kylpyhuone, iso olohuone ja täysin varustettu moderni keittiö, pieni opiskelu- ja ylimääräinen puoli kylpyamme. Huoneisto nukkuu 6-8 henkilöä, ja kietou ihanan pihan puutarhan ympärille, jota koristavat kukat, suihkulähde ja kultakala. Sekä mukavuudesta että charmista sisustettu koti sisältää eklektisen sekoituksen antiikkia ja moderneja huonekaluja.

Huoneistolla on oma erillinen sisäänkäynti pohjakerroksessa, vain yksi askel ylös kadulle, ja se on varustettu kaikilla tarvittavilla mukavuuksilla, kuten keskuslämmitys ja ilmastointi, satelliitti t. v. ja DVD / VCR-soitin, Internet-yhteys, astianpesukone, täysikokoinen jääkaappi ja pesukone. Yksi omistajista on taiteilija, joka jakaa aikansa Firenzen ja New York Cityn välille, ja monet hänen alkuperäisistä teoksistaan ovat esillä kotona, mukaan lukien suuret öljymaalaukset olohuoneessa ja freskot makuuhuoneessa.

We stayed in this Florence apartment for the entire month of January 2026, and it truly became our home away from home.If you’re looking for a sleek, ultra-modern renovation, this is not that—and that is exactly why we loved it. The apartment is full of authentic Florentine character, charm, and warmth, while still being very comfortable for a long stay. It felt like a real home, not a temporary rental.The space was ideal for daily living and hosting friends and family who visited throughout the month. We cooked often, shared meals and wine, did laundry, and genuinely settled into life here.The location could not have been better. We’ve visited Florence many times and stayed in other areas, but living in the Oltrarno showed us what we had been missing. The neighborhood feels local and less touristy, yet everything is walkable, including the train station.The piazza is a gem, with a great local bar next door, excellent restaurants and pizza across the square, one of the best gelato spots in Florence nearby, and our favorite coffee just around the corner.Genta was a wonderful host—kind, responsive, and incredibly helpful. She coordinated drivers and even helped recover delayed luggage using an AirTag, truly going above and beyond.When we return to Florence, we will stay here again. This apartment let us experience living in Florence, not just visiting it. Highly recommended.

The location of the garden house was amazing! It's just off a piazza that is a local hangout and the gelateria was the best in the Oltarano. It was lively and fun. The street noise in the living room was loud sometimes, which added to the fun local feel, and the bedrooms were always quiet and peaceful. The heat in the back bedroom didn't work but the property manager provided a space heater. The blankets were cozy so the space heater was only turned on in the morning before getting out of bed.

The Garden house was in a perfect location, easy to walk everywhere and great restaurants and cafes on the same street. The house had plenty of room for my family of 6 and the host was very helpful with recommendations and arranging transportation to and from the airport. We had an amazing time!

When you are looking for great VRBO places, location is everything. And this place is fantastic. Just a short walk to the Ponte Vicchio. But awayfrom the hustle and bustle of the newer part of the city.Plus right next door to a must do Schiaccia Passera (for an amazing sandwich) and Gelateria della Passera for dessert. Lots of things in the kitchen if you want to cook, but you're in Firenze - so take advantage of all the great cooks and use the fridge for leftovers (if you have any).Room layout is a little quirky. With access to one of the bedrooms through the open courtyard. The other has access through both another bedroom or the courtyard. But all bedrooms have their own bath plus there is a partial bath in the public area.Owner and their agent were very responsive.

The apartment was a perfect home base for visiting Florence - in the heart of the Oltrarno neighborhood with plenty of space for traveling friends or family. The neighborhood is busy, but the apartment is an oasis! The property manager (Gentiana) was very helpful -- and full of suggestions and ideas for making the most of our stay in Florence. I would rent this lovely, rustic space again and again!

The apartment is IDEALLY located! The manager was very responsive and solicitous of our needs. The somewhat quirky layout is attributable to the building’s former commercial use, but because the bedrooms are at the rear, it works perfectly and is quiet for sleeping. All in all, a great choice for families or friends (like us) traveling together.

Perfect Location

This location was beyond perfect. The neighborhood feels less touristy than others and some of the best gelato and sandwich shops are right on the square. It was unbelievably hot when we were there and the AC was perfect with the exception of the detached room. We didnt end up using it but the AC was less powerful in there so it was quite hot. Either way, wouldn’t deter us from staying again!

Great location and quiet

This place is has a gelato store, make your sandwich window, great restaurant and a bar…. All right outside your door….. and it’s quiet insideBed were comfy! Pillows have options(firm/soft)1 bath per bedroom is great. Also 1/2 bath off kitchen. 2 of the bedrooms have double beds1 had a queen and a twin and a bathtub/ shower combo1 bedroom you walk thru master OR walk across the patio to the main house… like the 3rd bedroom. I stayed in 3rd space and loved itAll showers had pressure and got hot fastThe place is older but had everything you needed. Furniture was comfy. It was clean. Gianna was fast to communicate and help. Such a nice person. Smart tv, can hook up to Netflix, YouTube…If it had been sunny, the courtyard would of been greatSo many doors open up to it. You’d get a great breeze thru the house. Neighbors were quiet too. Their windows are above the courtyard. I’d totally stay here again!!
