Staff was very friendly. I booked the economy old quadruple room for 2 people, and the lady at the front desk said it was a big room for just us. In actuality it was the perfect size when compared to American hotel rooms. Didn’t know the elevator only goes to the 3rd floor, so of course our room was on the 4th and we walked 2 flights of stairs every day without help with our luggage. I traveled with my 80 year old mother so you can imagine what that was like. Though the benefit of the 4th floor is that it’s quiet. Also the shower tub is very high to step over. Last thing I’ll say is you have to turn your room key in every time you leave the hotel, and pick it up at the front desk when you come back. Seemed weird/unsafe to me since they don’t check your ID to prove that it’s your room when you ask for the room key back, but may be a norm here. They also give you a separate key to let yourself in and out of the front of the hotel when there is no one at the front desk (midnight to 7am I believe). Advice: Use the front desk to call taxis for you as they are very hard to get in Florence on your own. You could also use Uber but they are 2x the price. Would I stay here again? Probably not.

Booked 2 nights here just for the location. Hard to beat! Room was good enough but no counter space in recently renovated bathroom. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Very friendly staff.

Center in Florence hotel

The hotel is in the middle of the old city center and it was great to be able to walk downstairs and get places. Their breakfast was great. Front desk helped a lot and the hotel was very clean. We only stayed one night and it was perfect for that night

You can't get a better location in Florence, it's two minutes away from the Duomo and is central to most major tourist attractions. The staff were very kind and provided excellent recommendations. They also upgraded our room to a suite, which was very much appreciated. Grazie!!

Room wasn’t fully cleaned, there was hairs on my bed and in the shower. Staff cleaned our room every day which was then cleaned properly. Very central of the city and was able to walk everywhere we wanted to see

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Florence! The location couldn’t be better — it’s within walking distance to everything you might need, including wonderful restaurants, shops, and even the train station. It’s also very close to the Uffizi Gallery and the Duomo, which made sightseeing so easy and enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable and well kept, and the staff was warm and welcoming. I highly recommend adding the breakfast option — the spread was excellent with plenty of fresh and delicious choices, a perfect way to start the day before exploring the city. Overall, a fantastic stay and we would definitely return!

Quick stop over in Firenze. The hotel is in a great location. Right in the heart of the city. It is in an old building however there is a small lift necessary for getting luggage to the upper floors
