Located in the heart of Florence, surrounded by the Santa Croce church and the Signoria square, discover a rare rooftop apartment that offers a truly magnificent view of the city. The flat is located inside a wonderful historical building which was the house of the embassy of the Duchy of Milan during the 15th century. It is situated on the 4th floor ( 86 steps without elevator ) but once you reach the top the full 360° breathtakingview will leave you speechless.
The property has undergone a recent renovation to further enhance its endless beauty and traditional 15th century features. This new look has refreshed both the downstairs and upstairsmaking the apartment even more cozier and confortable for guests to enjoy . The original red terracotta floors now shine white and some of the antique furniture has been re-modelled to achieve a more modern and stylish approach.
The flat develops on two levels, on the first floor you can find the bright and spacious master bedroom with en suite marble bathroom and shower, and a second bedroom which can be either double or twin . Both rooms are boast charming views over the red florentine rooftops. A second bathroom with shower can be found too.
A charming staircase leads you to the even more " romantic " second floor. This is a truly unique and fascinating space that hosts a lounge , dining area and a fully equipped kitchen . Nine incredible windows , spread all around the room illuminate and offer a breath taking view of Florence 8 Palazzo Vecchio , Santa Croce , The Duomo...., without forgetting the two exclusive panoramic terraces , furnished for unforgettable outdoors meals and for simply enjoying a glass of wine whilst admiring the mesmerizing views. Guests can also organize cooking class , dinner with chef and any culinary experience to bring back home with nostalgy .
All the materials used for the construction of this apartment are unique and original , dating back to the 15th century : the pavements are made of florentine terracotta and the ceilings of wooden beams. The apartment is exceptionally convenient for guests wishing to explore the city centre and visit Florence's main attractions . No need for a car , bus or taxi ! You can enjoy this wonderful city , all is within max 10 minutes by walk . This is a prime location for sightseeing and entertaining, the area is vibrant but very safe and has plenty of shops , restaurants and theatres all very close. The apartment is absolutely quite, up here there are only birds singing and tower bells noises. It’s a magical place!!
The apartment is also located two blocks far from one of the best italian restaurant: the famous Enoteca Pinchiorri.

✔ Standard check-in is from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM, with a supplement for arriving later than 7:30PM or after the agreed time.
✔ Luggage drop off is available if you arrive before 4:00PM
✔ We will reconfirm a check-in time based on our availability.
✔ Our check-in ambassador will personally welcome you at the apartment entrance.

Please remember to bring your own cables, chargers, and electrical adaptors for the European-style plug/socket.

General note about Florence:

Florence in recent years has seen a significant increase in second-home owners and foreign buyers purchasing apartments to list as rental properties. Many of these apartments are also in very poor condition—often dating back to the 1970s and 1980s—and these older styles are generally not suitable for modern short-term rentals without significant renovation. This ultimately means that renovations and construction work are ongoing throughout the city and owners carrying out said works are under no obligation to inform other residents in the building, nor to provide details on the duration of the works or when the noisiest phases will occur. Florence city council allows construction and building work to take place Monday-Sunday, 8am to 8pm. It is an ongoing challenge when construction work takes place in a building where we own a luxury apartment and we apologise in advance if this happens during your stay. We will continue to strive to do our utmost to assist our clients if renovation construction work is taking place in the building where you are staying but unfortunately we cannot promise to know about said work prior to your arrival for the reasons stated above. Thank you for your understanding.

Arriving in Florence:
Florence is well connected to all major cities in Italy (Rome, Milan, Naples and Venice) by extensive, well maintained motorways and efficient and fast train connections. However, if you are travelling with young children or have lots of luggage or wish for a stress-free experience, we recommend booking a private car with driver service. The apartment is a short taxi ride from the Florence train station Santa Maria Novella and Florence Airport.

Travelling by train: We recommend consulting www.trenitalia.com

Private Car Service with English Speaking Driver (available throughout Tuscany and beyond). Hire in Italy is a local limo company that can organise all your transport requirements. Parking in Florence:
Florence’s historical centre is a Restricted Traffic Zone so if you are planning to arrive by car please let us know in advance so that we can recommend a parking area that is only a 5 minute walk from the apartment.
