This home is immaculate! Definitely at the top of our list for vacation rentals. The home was better stocked than my own home and the art work/decor was beautiful. The home has many windows , allowing you to take in the beauty of the nature that surrounds it. Also, huge kitchen table and wonderful outdoor patio with plenty of seating . And the large back yard was a plus. This home is also perfectly located, just 2 min from fort Davis main strip and less then 10 min to Davis mountains and 30 min to Marfa. Perfect location for day trips. This home was cozy, quiet, and comfortable and met all our needs. We hope to stay here again in the future!!!

Prosperity was very clean. Host was very helpful. The reason for the 4 stars is there were no shades or curtains on any windows in the living room or kitchen and dining room. No privacy for us especially at night when in your pjs, getting up to get a drink or walking around. Anyone from the outside can see you. Also, the beds were very uncomfortable, they were very hard to sleep on. The plugs in guest bathroom didn’t work. Besides that the house was very clean and stocked well with kitchen accessories.

Very clean,comfortable and well appointed house. It is centrally located to Marfa, Alpine, McDonald Observatory.We were there at the beginning of the week mid March and found that many restaurants didn't open until Thursday. If I had known, I would have shopped Lowes for groceries and cooked in Starry Night's very lovely kitchen. A very nice large dining table for meals and games.

The views in this place are incredible, mountains for miles! You can see the sun rise and set from the same comfortable seat. The house is fresh, clean and nicely appointed with a well-stocked kitchen. The host was gracious and kept us informed at all times. And the location is perfect, a relatively short walk to shops and restaurants downtown, and an easy drive to McDonald Observatory. We have stayed many places in Fort Davis over the years and this place is our clear favorite.

Kitchen supplies were beyond expectations. A plastic two prong forks (12 or so inches long.) would have been nice for cooking meat and etc. in skillets. Towels, pillows, sheets and etc. were more than expected.
