Do not Recommend - Health and Safety Issues
Our reservation began on June 22nd, and the initial unit we were assigned to had a strong mildew/mold stench. I immediately reached out to the host regarding the issue but had to stay there for the first night and then they advised they were trying to move me to another unit. They assigned me another room but next door but didn’t give me the access code. After waiting a few hours, I noticed the unit was open so I went in and let the host know I was in and still waiting on the lock code. When I entered I noticed the AC wasn’t working fully in the living room and there was a sewage stench coming from the bathroom sink. I reached out via the VRBO app and the property manager advised he had just quit managing that property the day before and gave me the host’s number directly to communicate the current state of the unit and to get the Wi-Fi information. A few days later on the morning of June 26th a random man entered the unlock code and walked into the unit while my girlfriend was taking a shower! He was on the phone telling someone that he sees that someone else is already occupying the unit. My girlfriend had to get him out while only wrapped in a towel. I reached out via chat immediately and told the host to call me so I can understand how this happened and make sure it will not happen again. He sent me a message lying to me saying it was the host who came in, and I pointed out that was a lie because that person seemed to be on the phone communicating with someone w
