Slumlord

The place was in a rundown bldg. They tried to give us a room that had no lights. Showed us the room that was pictured & it had a fitted sheet on it & room was not cleaned. Not happy at all. Ended up having to get a room at Comfort Suites for $235 & $100 deposit. Had to walk to Comfort Inn about 3blks away. We did receive refund from "slumlord". I would suggest taking this property off your rental list.

Has potential but needs alot more effort

This stay was not great, and I really wanted it to be great because the place could be really cute. I like small tiny home like places and I like DIY. This place is small and DIY but just not done too well. To begin everything in the room is old. looks like they got it from some type of junkyard or something. They could do to upgrade the chair, the bed, and fix the water pressure in the shower. The bed has bed bugs. The chair has old dirty material they should get a chair with no material and add some material or just get a new chair with material a little bit more effort to this place would have went a long way. The walls in the kitchen at the bottom need to be cleaned or painted over but they were doing painting when I arrived and maybe not finished so it has potential to have a cleaner look and feel to it. If you are a light sleeper the walls are thin. You can hear everything around. The owner is very accessible on a positive note. He's easy to contact and he does respond quickly. He was Accommodating where he could be. The bathroom was actually fairly clean. I'd just suggest a rug for the shower floor because it's wood and clammy feeling.
