I booked this location knowing it would be a budget friendly hotel and that the furniture in the rooms needed updated. I tried to base my overall review accordingly.
Pros:
- 2 minute walk to the beach
- great location with many restaurants in walking distance
- overall price
- free parking (this is what really convinced me to book this hotel)
- kitchen is stocked with plates, bowls, cups, pots, pans, Pyrex, full fridge, full oven, blender, toaster
- they worked with us on an early check-in and late check out
- pool was heated (but small with signs saying only 8 people in the water at once)
Cons:
- no house keeping. Ever. We stayed for 8 night and were never offered.
- towel exchange: it is your responsibility to go to the basement and exchange your used towels. However, this is only available M-F. We have no problem using our towel a couple of times, so we didn’t feel the need to exchange until Saturday. We ended up paying to wash and dry the towels on site.
- have to ask to restock items since there isn’t housekeeping. However, replacements (except towels) were available at the front desk (TP, garbage bags, paper towels, soaps)
- hot tub is still down. We booked 7 months prior to our stay with the expectation this would be fixed prior to our stay.
