Island Sands is a hidden gem located on Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This small 27-unit condominium offers a peaceful retreat with an uncrowded beach. Listen to the waves roll in and feel the powder white sand under your feet as you walk down to the beach, just steps from your back door. The community swimming pool provides a relaxing place to sunbath and take a dip. Close to all local attractions, entertainment, and restaurants... Island Sands is the perfect beach location.



The Space:

This 1 bedroom/1.5 bathroom unit includes: A fully stocked kitchen for preparing meals, a breakfast bar with seating for six, a main living area with a sleeper sofa for extra guests, and a private balcony with gulf views. A master bedroom with a king size bed, smart TV, and half bathroom. A full bathroom with tub/shower combination in the hallway. Washer and dryer in unit.

We enjoyed our stay. The host kept us well informed in a timely manner. I would recommend replacing the teflon cookware and the bed mattress. Other than that, everything was to our liking.

Excellent property

My husband and I had a fabulous time in this rental. The location is perfect- steps from the beach but in a less crowded area. The rental was clean and comfortable. It was great to have washing machine and dryer in the unit. The kitchen was well stocked. We sat out in the balcony most mornings with our coffee and loved having chair service on the beach. Owners were super responsive and accommodating. . We will be back.

Overall great condo

My husband and I love the location of this condo and the fact that its only 3 stories. The beach is very easy to access. The amenities here are excellent! Plenty of bath towels and wash cloths and although I brought my own beach towels it was very thoughtful for the owner to have beach towels for use. We eat out for our meals but the kitchen is well stocked for doing your own cooking. The ONLY reason my overall rating was 4 stars is because the bed was terribly uncomfortable. I dont know if it is because there was no box spring underneath the mattress or that the mattress is cheap. Also the fitted sheet did not properly fit and would not stay on the mattress.

Love the place. The beach is over crowded though with all the high rises all up and down the beach now! Beach not as crowded just a few years ago when we first started staying at Island sands 303!

Perfect view off the water and beach.

The rain cancelled our deep sea fishing trip but the condo was amazing. The view was perfect and the check in was easy. The communication was great to. Would definitely love to stay at Island Sands again. Oh and being on the third floor was perfect.
