The hotel, room, and location were great. However, my main concern was with the front desk service. I travel often and usually, when arriving within an hour of check-in time, most hotels are willing to accommodate early check-ins—especially when the rooms are already prepared.
We were in town for a wedding and arrived at 2:00 PM (with the wedding starting at 3:30), hoping to get ready in time. Unfortunately, the staff member at the front desk was not very friendly and immediately told us there were no rooms available, with no effort to check or offer alternatives. It was hard to believe that there were absolutely no rooms ready by 2:00 PM.
Even more disappointing, when we returned at 3:05—after the official check-in time—our room still wasn’t ready. We finally received the keys around 3:15, which added unnecessary stress to an already time-sensitive situation.
Overall, the stay itself was nice, but the customer service at check-in definitely needs improvement.
