We stayed at the hotel for a total of 10 or 11 days. It took 6 days before anyone cleaned our room. We were leaving our room to travel four hours away to a different venue. We attempted to check out so we could receive a refund for those two days. Management refused. We booked through Expedia and spent a lot of time on the phone with Expedia while they tried to get approval for a refund for the two days we weren't going to be there and Expedia was denied by management. I went down to the front desk to speak to someone directly and they told me that management refused and their hands were tied. I was very disappointed. Prior to leaving for the two days since we weren't allowed to check out I informed the front desk that we have been at the hotel for several days and NEVER received room service. I have been taking my own trash out and then exchanging my towels myself. I have NEVER encountered such poor service like this before. The front desk was apologetic and said they were going to contact their Regional manager. Even after leaving the room vacant for two days we came back to a room that had never been touched. I was furious, but really had no one to take the anger out on. The front desk said they had relayed the message, but it never was done. When we got there we wanted to have a cup of tea, but there was no tea bags. When we had breakfast there was peanut butter, but no jelly. Every day the breakfast doors were locked promptly at 9:30. That was the only timely thing.
