The hotel itself is very beautiful in a historic building and downtown Fort Worth is absolutely charming. It is highly walkable with a lot of dining and nightlife options. However the service and amenities in the hotel are subpar. The bar/restaurant upstairs is almost never open and was closed for late night options which I was counting on after a late flight and one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. The hotel doesn’t give basic amenities like water and and in-room coffee maker which are standard at even budget chains … room service coffee will cost $26 per day so it’s cheaper to just have a coffee maker delivered off of door dash. The bottled water in the room is priced at $7 for 16 ounces … so get that delivered as well. Housekeeping didn’t come any of the days I stayed. There are A LOT of luxe historic hotels in the area … choose another because otherwise you’re going to be nickel and dimed for basic amenities that should be standard at this price point.
