Couldn’t stay here. Arrived around 10pm at night, no one was in the building, there were building works everywhere. Floor ripped up, lift open and broken, not a single guest or worker in sight. Tried calling, no answer. We tried for an hour and had no luck. The dining room was an empty room covered in building works and blue prints. Couldn’t believe what we had seen. Had to find another hotel nearby last minute so we actually had somewhere to sleep.

The mail problem was the room filled with mold, unsanitary and dangerous. Had to leave after one night as both my wife and I were getting sick from the mold. The hotel is ready for condemnation and the German authorities should close it down… I want my money back and I took pictures that I will plaster all over the internet. Hotels. com should be ashamed of themselves, recommending this unsafe hotel.

This hotel is located directly across from the Frankfurt Main train station. So you can easily walk to the station for departures. The room was comfortable and the breakfast provided was good. I would recommend this hotel.

Hotel Continental

Hotel is only 3 minutes' walk from the Frankfurt main train station & the main station is only 15 minutes from Frankfurt airport by subway line S9. Neighbouring Kaiser Strasse is full of restaurants with different nationalities. There is famous Studel Musem, with an extensive art collection, 15 minutes' walk from the hotel across river Main. The location cannot be any better. The hotel itself needs a bit of facelift & updates though.

Room clean and looked recently refurbished. Good breakfast selection available in the morning. Right across the road from the main train station with easy access to the u bahn/s bahn and tram network. Only takes about 10-12 minutes to reach by s bahn 8 and 9 from airport. Only downside was no aircon in room which was needed during the summer

Building was in terrible condition. Staff was rude and unhelpful. Was forced to pay a"city tax" in cash and was refused a receipt. I had paid all charges on the app, the customer in front of me was not required to pay the "city tax".
