Pennan on upea pieni merenrantakylä tunnetuin päässä kahdeksankymmentäluvulla elokuva - Local Hero jossa liikemies ihastuu charmia ja vauhtia elämään kylässä on tarjota. Tämä on edelleen totta tänään, tunnet itsesi rentoutua, kun tuuli alas jyrkkä tie kohti kylä henkeäsalpaavat näkymät merelle edessä. Talo on kunnostettu syvä huomioon alkuperäisiä piirteitä ja uusia lisäyksiä myös käsityöläinen puutöitä ja ylellinen kylpyhuone. Kylässä on upea ravintola ja pubi ja siellä ovat loistavia kävelee lähistöllä tarjoaa korjaavat pakopaikka vieraille.

Sisällä talossa:

* Pohjakerroksessa on avokeittiö ja olohuone perinteinen puu-uuni. On käsityönä koskettaa koko lukien viski tynnyri ikkunapaikan ja käsintehtyjä ruokapöytä. On hyvin varustettu keittiö huolellisesti suunniteltu sopimaan noin 19th century kotiin.

* Yläkerrassa ensimmäisessä kerroksessa on makuuhuone king-size-vuode, kaunis ikkunapaikan ja puuhella. Omassa kylpyhuoneessa on suihku ja syvä amme.

* Ylimmässä kerroksessa on rentouttava olohuone mittatilaustyönä kalusteet, kaukoputki ja upea merinäköala, täydellinen paikka rentoutua kirjan kuunnellen aallot ...

Omaisuus on fantastinen perääntyä tarjoaa vierailleen ihana loma idyllisessä ja kaunis koskettaa koko. Vuodevaatteet, pyyhkeet, piknik asetettu, puhdistusaineet ja keittiön olennaiseen tarjotaan.
Tämä mökki sijaitsee lähellä kohdetta New Aberdour Beach. Majoituspaikka tarjoaa asiakkailleen esimerkiksi pyykinpesutilat. Mökissä tarjoaa asiakkaiden käyttöön esimerkiksi keittiön ja takan.

I love the Wee Cottage! My husband joined me for the first 4 days and I stayed for another 10. The cottage is SO cute and just what everyone wants for a writer's retreat! My husband and I did the Duff House walk & Banff history walk (there is a WalkHighlands website that has a ton of walks). For dinner we went to a lovely restaurant at the top of the hill in MacDuff, Knowles Hotel. We also grabbed groceries as there is no shop in Pennan!We went to Macallan for tastings and dinner at Time:Spirit (you’ll need reservations for both). I would recommend lunch versus dinner (6 vs. 10-courses) or head to The Craigellachie Hotel pub, we had an excellent lunch. In Aberlour, there is a lovely butcher, great fancy foods store, Walker Biscuit factory and store, and the walk up to the Linn waterfall is fun. Keith also looks great, but we didn’t have time!Johnson of Elgin has a full factory tour that was very worthwhile. Seeing the full operation was one of my favorite things and we then had a full tea there. They only do the full tea with 24-hours notice so make a reservation. We enjoyed walking around Elgin as well and did stop at a few of the small towns on the way. Without a car, Pennan means a bunch of walking which was just what I was looking for! Gardenstown and Cullen are great!I spent lots of days just hanging out, walking the Pennan beach head, enjoying Coastal Cuppie and Pennan Inn, and sitting in my cashmere socks (Johnson of Elgin).I’ll be back for two weeks again!

This is one of the most beautiful and charming places I've ever stayed! Pennan is beyond compare in its grace, allowing you to reconnect with the world, taking a break from it.The cottage is superb, perfect in every corner. I can't believe how you can become attached to a place in just one night, but that's what we felt: a home away from home.It has everything you need, cared for by someone who cares, where everything is thoughtful and considered. Kate was an exceptional host and a pleasure to talk to!Definitely a comeback place

Wee Cottage

A beautiful wee cottage, exactly like the photos but of course so much more because of its location. The kitchen is well organised, the bathroom spotless and the host is lovely. A relaxing place to stay. I loved the attic room with the little window giving a view to the sea and space to do some yoga.

Herrlicher Blick aufs Meer aus wunderschönem Häuschen

Ein kleines Häuschen, bei dem sich kängere Menschen gewiss das eine oder andere Mal den Kopf an der Treppe anstoßen in einem winzigen Örtchen. Bei frischen Außentemperaturen zwischen 3 und 12 C mussten wir uns mit dem Kaminofen viel Mühe geben, hatten es dann aber sehr gemütlich und den Blick vom Sofa und vom Bett direkt auf die See sehr genossen. Costal Cupy ( eine Kaffeebude mit selbstgebackenen Kuchen) und der Pennan Inn waren sehr lecker. Spaziergänge an der zerklüfteten Küste haben uns viel Spaß gemacht.

Such a stunning unique place. The ‘wee house’ was just what we hoped it would be -cosy, warm, safe and everything you need. Set in such a picturesque spot and close to other stunning bays as well. The view out several windows is better than you could dream of!

Hideaway by the Sea

This little seaside property is the perfect place for relaxing. Well equipped, cozy and comfortable. It offers both a place to hide away from the world in this quaint village nestled against a cliff at the foot of the sea and a great location to drive out from to discover many attractions. The host is responsive, friendly and helpful.

Beautiful!

Wee Cottage was perfect in so many ways. Right by the sea, views from most windows, just the right size for a couple, cosy and homey and a great base to explore other nearby coves and villages. Great for getting out and about or great for snuggling on the sofa in front of the log burner. We didn't have a single complaint, in fact we didn't want to leave!

Fabulous stay at the Wee Hoose, which provided everything we wished for. Pennan is by far the most attractive venue on the North Aberdeenshire coast, and the fisherman's cottage was beautiful and homely. A great week's break. Not to be missed.

Cozy wee house

Picturesque small fishing village. It is a lovely cozy small house. Kate had thoughtfully prepared the fire for us, it was a particularly cold stormy summers day. However the weather added to its ambiance. Everything two people might want is there, even down to an ice cream scoop. Upstairs is a large bed with extremely comfotable bedding.. Theres a wardrobe for hanging cothes plus room for two 25 inch suitcases on the flloor.Kate is a lovely host. Thank you.

Stunning house at the waterfront

The village Pennan and the house itself were the perfect location for our longed for recreation. We loved the space in the house - 3 levels all for us two! Waking up with a view to the sea was amazing! Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures.

Wir haben die Tage in dem Haus sehr genossen. Es ist klein aber dafür auch sehr gemütlich. Wer etwas Ruhe und eine Auszeit vom "Stress" der heutigen Zeit sucht wird bei diesem Haus nicht enttäuscht.

Wee House in Pennan, fabulous

We loved that property, it is right on the shoreline, and is so quirky and comfortable. It is really well situated and very well laid out. I loved the 3 floors layout, fabulous wee nook for relaxing and watching the sea on 3rd floor. The wood burning fire was amazing and so cosy when you enter the property. Bedroom and bathroom are on the 2nd floor. If ur really tall the headroom may be an issue, but we loved it and will definitely return.
