While light construction may take place during the day, it’s all part of building something special. Internal roads are still being improved but remain fully safe and accessible for all types of vehicles.

Our escape to Fredericksburg was lovely. This unit was spacious, the courtyard was private, and the bed was super comfortable. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear and timely, and the host was warm and welcoming. The grounds looked great, even though we did not use the pool, courts, or games. The only reasons I did not give this five stars are: 1. I don't like having to wash dishes in a bathroom sink. 2. Hot water to the sinks takes a long time, and the pressure is not good. 3. If you wander off the road even a few inches, there are wicked stickers all over the place, which made it not as pet-friendly as I had hoped. Truly, this is a lovely property for a respite or, I am sure, for a fun-filled weekend of games.

Location and dedication to the train station theme are five star, but that may be where the positives end. Although the room was clean, the bed pillows we had smelled awfully sour. The bed itself felt unstable and by the second night of our stay, it actually collapsed from simply sitting on the side. One would think the bulk of the budget for a place of lodging, a place where one expects to sleep, would go to sturdy bed frames rather than to themed decor. When we sent pictures of the compromised frame to management, all other units were booked so we were told to place the mattress on the floor. We are still awaiting on a response to our request for some kind of reimbursement as we ended up having to book a room late in the evening at another establishment where we didn't fear the bed falling out from under us. Spare yourself the embarrassment and skip this place.

Convenient and quiet. It was the perfect location for hopping back and forth from Main St to the wineries each day. It was quiet and peaceful for good nights sleep and restful slow mornings. 100 percent will stay again!
