We had a group of 14 family members ranging in age from 25-70 gather for my 50th birthday weekend getaway in Fredericksburg. We had some initial issues getting into the back property (code not working) hosts were responsive fairly quickly and issue resolved. We really enjoyed the property and separate houses worked great for our age gap (younger crew in The front house). The back property was a little larger and nicer in our opinion. And our entire group loved gathering In the back house living room and game room. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking in the back house as well. Our only cons and they were minimal - our bed was a tad bit too firm, and the bathroom sliding door didn’t offer a lot of privacy in our room. The door knobs to the house were also a little loose upon entry. And we didn’t realize the twin beds in the front house were literally right outside of a bedroom (our guests wanted a little more privacy). But overall- we would absolutely stay here again!! Wonderful memories made.

We were a group of 10 ranging in age from 15 to 80. The accommodations were ideal. We were close to numerous activities--golf, pickle ball, sights, etc. The game room was well stocked and the sight of almost nightly gatherings. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Cute homes. The room with twin beds is not actually its own room because it is open with no privacy from the stairs. Fine for kids but not adults that prefer privacy. If you like antiques you will love it but if you don’t then this house isn’t for you. The antiques give off the antique smell and it was not for me but luckily a friend that loves antiques found it to be just fine for her.The hot tub was dirty so that was disappointing. The rear house was nice! I enjoyed this house.It seemed to be newer and not as many antiques to make it have the smell the first house had. A/c upstairs was great! The queen room had a/c issue but it was tolerable with ac from game room helping to cool the downstairs. It also is worth noting that people that want to fix hair and make up in down stairs double queen bathroom cannot use the mirror. It is too vintage to actually use it for that purpose. If you plan on eating you will need to bring paper plates as they did not have any plates. Washer & dryer was brand new and nice. Fridge/ freezer clean & cooled well. Beds were comfy. Couches were comfy but a few throws would have been nice. Walking distance if in Spring or fall but too far in the Texas Summer Heat if you’re not in the mood for a hike & sweating. Beautiful home inside and out. A minor issue was there were several light bulbs that were burnt out in both houses and the fence lights did not work. I think that there were burnt out or broken blubs.The water in the back house took a while to get hot but overall everything was good.

This place was GREAT for our group. Clean and lots of space. Awesome for gathering with the pool in the middle and the climate controlled game room. Easy walk to Main Street shops and restaurants, and a close drive to the HEB. Everyone in our group raved about the setup all weekend.

We've stayed everywhere in Fredericksburg. This home was welcoming, spacious, and super! We had a great time! We rented it for the location and the pool. It's hard to find a house close to Main St. with a pool. There are 2 fire pits, 2 hot tubs, a pool, a game room, and so many beds! The space is beyond functional for a large group. We were only a family of 6, so if you have a group of 12, this place is perfect! Most of the main living spaces are on the second floor (a note in case someone has trouble with stairs).The only reason we took 1 star off is that there were minor maintenance issues for a premium property. First, we did not receive check-in instructions before arrival. We had to contact the property management company to get in--they were great! Second, the previous tenants did not take out the trash. The wifi also wasn't working. After some troubleshooting with the management company, I fixed it (all of this should have been checked by the management company prior). The property needs outdoor maintenance (ie: the tree canopy is too close to the fire pit and it could catch fire). Also, they need a pest service. The mosquitoes and wasps were bad--my son got stung by a wasp on the swing, and I took down a huge wasp nest. I was also surprised that the hosts didn't include a welcome note/gift (customary for the area). I don't care much about the gift, but was surprised that a premium rental didn't include it.All in all, the house was amazing! Highly recommend!

This property has enough room for all .. our family enjoyed both houses, pool and game room! We loved being able to walk to restaurants/shopping/park .. the AC worked well in both houses and kitchens were well stocked. We will definitely book again when returning to Fredericksburg!

Fantasy Find in Fredericksburg

The two houses allowed for 9 people to spread out but also gather in various places. Homes were comfortable and cozy…clean and well stocked. Very short walk to Main Street yet a quiet neighborhood. It was perfect.

Absolutely wonderful Texas homes

Beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Our week was business and would have loved to enjoy it more. And owners couldn't have been nicer which made for a very nice experience. Definitely will be returning when we can relax and enjoy more.
