Welcome to Seaside Sanctuary, a newer beach home made for slow mornings, salty breezes, and golden-hour sunsets over the Intracoastal Waterway. Whether you're reeling in a redfish at the Jetty, catching crabs at the nearby crabbing pier, or just sipping something cold on the deck with your pup at your feet—this is the kind of place where life moves at tide speed.
The Space:
This laid-back, pup-friendly retreat is perched perfectly to take in wide-open views of the Intracoastal and those dreamy coastal sunsets. Inside, the home is fresh, bright, and thoughtfully set up for easy beach living—simple, stylish, and super comfy.
The open layout gives you space to unwind, whether you’re cooking up your catch, lounging with a book, or playing games with the fam. The vibe is barefoot casual, with just the right mix of modern touches and coastal charm.
SLEEPING/BATH ARRANGEMENT: (sleeps up to 8)
All 3 bedrooms are outfitted with luxurious bedding, as well as, bathrooms with luxury hotel grade towels and toiletries.
~ Primary bedroom on the main level and has a Queen bed with a full bath nearby.
~ 2nd bedroom is on the upper level and has a 3 x Twin beds (no bunks)
~ 3rd bedroom could be used as a 2nd master with Queen and Twin bed plus door to deck/balcony.
~ Full bath on the upper level in between the bedrooms.
AMENITIES: RO drinking water system on sink installed, SmartTV, ceiling fans, central A/C, all kitchen appliances including dishwasher, washer & dryer, charcoal BBQ grill
Guest Access:
EASY CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: It's easy to stay with us and secure too! Access the home electronically at 4pm on the date of your arrival with your unique lock code that we specifically give only to you via text and email. Your code is live from 4pm on your arrival date until 11am on the date of your departure.
The Neighborhood:
🏝️ We (The 979 Crew) love our sleepy Surfside Beach community with plenty of sand and surf to enjoy! No touristy chain restaurants, shops or hotels. Just chillin' beach bar and grills, food (and beverage) trucks (like Surfin Rita Daiquiris To-Go), burger joints (like Pier 30 and Sharkies on the Beach) and tasty fresh seafood options (like Seahorse Bar & Grill and Beachfront Deck Bar & Grill) line the water. Surfside is your simple relaxing sandy beach, water sporting, surfing, fishing and crabbing vacation destination.

The 979 Crew is comprised of island locals who are passionate about making sure the home you chose is nothing short of clean, comfortable, and ready for your group's fun! Every home is fully and professionally cleaned after each guest stay. In addition, all of our homes feature luxury hotel-quality/high thread count on all sheets, bedding, and bath towels which are replaced upon every turnover including the duvet covers and shams (we've heard not every company does this, and we think that's just gross). We take clean seriously! When you rent a 979 home, you'll also receive the 'comforts of home' guest welcome starter supply of shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, tp and paper towels, dishwasher and clothes washer pods. We want your stay to be as easy as you do, and the 979 Crew aims to deliver on that commitment. We love our island guests!
🐾 PUP-FRIENDLY:
Bring Fido(s)! We welcome your furry friends (aka family members). Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are allowed at this home, subject to approval and a non-refundable pet fee of $100 per dog per stay.
WIFI/TV SERVICE:
Our properties include WIFI/Internet and TV service for your streaming services. Due to our location (Island living is a whole other way of life), service may be unpredictable or spotty, and repair times can be delayed. While we will do everything we can to ensure these items are in good working order before your arrival, please note, these services may not be as consistent as they are in your area. So grab your favorite people, ditch the electronics, and spend the day at our beautiful beaches!
979 VACATION PROPERTY SERVICES:
All 979 rental home follow local and state tax rules. Reservations may be booked up to 365 days in advance. Please send inquiry and details if more than a year out as rates and availability may not be updated. Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, $1M liability protection and $10K damage insurance - and good news, No Security Deposit Required!
CANCELLATION POLICY:
When booking direct with 979, you may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. Some exceptions may apply for last-minute reservations. After 24 hours, cancel at least 30 days before your check-in and receive a refund in your original form of payment less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 30 days of check-in are non-refundable.
Reservations made on 3rd party channels/OTAs such as Airbnb, VRBO, Booking, Hopper etc may be subject to terms and conditions which may be different than 979's. When booking through a 3rd party channel, the cancellation policy you agreed to at the time of booking is the cancellation policy on your reservation.

*NOTE: Absolutely No Prom, Graduation or other large (more than the max occupancy) parties/events permitted. Max # house sleeps (occupancy) = max # of Guests allowed on property at any time. Thank you.
