Our room was at the end part where the stairs is located. It’s noisy you can hear water dripping or flushing if next room or occupant on the second floor used their restroom. Property and Facility quite old, linens are not crisp and remote control of TV is not working , these things needs attention. Staff and service were fine and room was clean too. It was convenient to where our event located. Overall I will still recommend to friends.

We were on a tight schedule upon arrival, so it was disappointing to learn that our room was not ready, especially since it was already past 3:00 PM, the standard check-in time. While we waited, we noticed that several other guests—at least five or six—were checked in and given rooms before us. I asked the front desk if any room was available, even if it wasn’t the exact type I booked, but was told I would need to wait for the specific room I reserved. Unfortunately, this led to a delay of over 30 minutes before I received my room. My brother-in-law, who arrived with us, waited even longer—about an hour and a half. This delay caused us to be late for an important event we were attending, which was incredibly frustrating.

Good stay other than the tv service

It would have been more nicer if there were better selection for tv channels. Some of the channels I selected was not available. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the option to do much because I was very limited on walking so I was stuck in the room. The young man at the front desk was very helpful showing me how to use the remote to the tv but he too could not get the channels I wanted, too.

Fire alarm causes a stir

Most stays at this location have been very good. This time, moments after I checked in (late) and got to the room, the fire alarm started going off and would not stop. Everyone in the building was out of their rooms and all over the hotel. Owner left 2 very nice ladies to figure out what to do on their own. Did not appear to come by to make sure all was well. It made for a rough night for many of the families with kids I'm sure. Nothing at all offered by management as any consolation for this unfortunate event. Counter staff did everything they could to calm the guests. Once the Fire Dept came and cleared the building, they said the alarm must have an issue, and recommended calling the alarm service company. Still, a number of guests were not happy as they thought the alarm was silenced to get it to stop going off, which made them nervous about it not working throughout the night. It was not a confidence-inspiring situation.

The staff was helpful and courteous. The room was nice, and the facilities were clean. We were disappointed to find the jacuzzi was not working, but at least the pool was heated. One of the reasons we picked this hotel was the indoor pool and jacuzzi.

My ground floor room had a window that was not securely sealed and closed, so I didn’t feel safe. And there was no room safe. I didn’t want to leave it open for fresh air. Could open it but the screen wasn’t closed, or able to close. It would open a few inches wide and not worth the risks, of mosquitoes or someone skilled at breaking in. Leaving anything in the room felt like someone could remove the screen & get the window open to take our things at any time. Did I mention no locking safe in the room? Pool was cloudy water, like it was never properly cleaned aside from chlorine and a hot tub drained and taped off was disappointing. Doors to outside were always open to the pool, all day and night. WiFi was not functional enough, I tried multiple times to connect an Apple TV and it didn’t work. TV was very small, hard to watch from bed, and not easy to hear since hallway noise went through the door and filled the room. When I washed my hands on arrival the tap water ran several minutes and it seemed barely hot enough to satisfy a health department. I realize I’d said my kid was going to be with me, but the couch looked like it was damaged by an animal, the shower wall had a caulking repaired crack.
