The Space:

474 Tarpon is a 6-bedroom, 3 bath, oceanfront, 24/7 beach home. Located centrally on Tarpon Blvd, this home is a golf cart ride away from the island's many amenities, golf courses and tennis/pickleball courts. Recent updates at this property include all new mattresses and box springs in 2025. Interior updates include new paneling and updated closets in the upstairs bedrooms in 2025. The back deck and boardwalk to the beach was redone in 2025. This centrally located oceanfront home is the perfect place for your vacation and will comfortably accommodate 14.



This 6-bedroom home is set up with 2 bedrooms with a bath between on each side of the house on the 2nd floor, and 2 bedrooms with a bath between on the 1st floor. All 4 2nd-floor bedrooms have 1 queen bed, a dresser, a closet, and bedside tables on each side. The last 2 bedrooms are downstairs. 1 bedroom has 2 queen beds, 2 closets, a dresser and bedside tables. The 6th bedroom has 2 twin beds, a closet, and a dresser. The left bathroom upstairs has a tub shower combo, and the other bathrooms have a shower.



Features of the property include a wide-open great room with privacy in bedrooms when needed. There is a spacious foyer when you enter the home, a great place to take off flip flops and empty beach bags before going upstairs. The laundry room is just to the left of the main entrance in the carport and has a full-size washer and dryer and 2nd refrigerator. An ideal place to put wet beach/pool towels to have ready for the next day! The large screened-in porch has plenty of seating and leads directly to the propane grill and newly renovated deck and private boardwalk down to the beach. This property has 7 tv's, 1 in each bedroom and 1 in the living room. The tv's are streaming only, but the property includes YouTube TV to allow you to access your choice of live TV, Amazon Firesticks in each room with High-Speed Wireless Internet (one room has a Roku tv).



Take a walk down your private boardwalk that is partially submerged underwater at the highest tide. At low tide their is plenty of beach to explore. The newly renovated deck features a place to wash the sand off your feet along with a fish fileting station with running water.



The View:

The home is backed up directly to the beach, with a panoramic view of the ocean from the living room, kitchen, and two back bedrooms, truly surrounding you with the ocean. One of the best views on Fripp Island!



Notes about the home:

This beach house has been hosting families for many years. The owners renovated the back deck and 2nd-floor bedrooms in 2024. Full size oven installed in 2024! All mattresses and box springs were replaced in 2025 due to popular demand.

These cards are required for access to all resort amenities including restaurants and bars, pools (opened year-round), golf, pickleball, tennis, fitness center, and more. Your unit is stocked with a starter set of essentials like toilet paper and paper towels. Springtide Market & Deli (located at the front of the island near the guard gate) stocks all essentials needed for a longer stay as well as groceries, grab-and-go, liquor, beach accessories, and much more!

Located 20 miles from Beaufort, South Carolina, Fripp Island is a gated, private island, comprised of about six and a half square miles. The views from Fripp Island are unlike others in the Sea Islands, as Fripp is the most seaward of them all.
