Excellent stay

This was a wonderful stay for our family. It was very clean and well kept. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very nicely done out but the room had an open shower, with a window in the room. Not ideal with 2 teenagers! We used the wellness area while we were there and that was gorgeous. It has 2 steam rooms and a sauna, and a very luxurious place quiet rooms. It rained while we were there so we appreciated the down time. The parking was underground and had to book it in advance. The hotel is very centrally located , with a supermarket and bakery opposite, very close to the bus stop that takes you to Neuschwanstein Castle, and minutes to the town centre.

Maybe it was because we were American, but we were given a really bad room. The room was next to a deck with smoking and it smelled like an ashtray. Also people on the deck can see in your room as the curtain does not give much privacy. The parking was really far away from the hotel. Staff wasn’t too friendly. When we tried to explain issues with room they were not interested in listening. We were told to go out on the deck and ask the people to stop smoking. They told Expedia they would switch our room the next day but that was not true. When I saw how bad it was i asked if I could cancel and stay somewhere else or even just take one night off and reduce the time we booked but we were told no. There is no pool or much in amenities. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Very cute decor and had an amazing Moroccan style spa where you can use the steam room and chill on the cute patio afterwards. Walkable to many restaurants and shops. We walked straight to the popular castles or there are bus options as well. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Paid over $400 USD for a room that was supposed to have a view. No view. Strangely fitted room with windows from a public deck looking onto the bed. Noisy elevator made clicking sounds all night. Disaster. Staff was nice despite the issues.

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Fussen. Amenities in the room and hotel were overall very nice. Breakfast was the best we had on our travels across Europe with many options and a very reasonable price considering what they had on offer. Great location in downtown Fussen, easy to get into and out of with our rental car once we figured out where the driveway was (it's a bit small). Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Hotel, rooms, restaurant, location, and staff were fabulous! We chose to stay in Fussen as part of our stop to see Neuschwanstein. Glad we did! As a family of with 2 teens, we had two rooms. Both rooms were great and uniquely decorated. We rented e-bikes from the hotel and rode throughout the area. We drove to Neuschwanstein. We enjoyed walking through Old Town and loved the breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Will definitely return!
