Ainutlaatuinen talo Funchalin keskustassa aivan meren rannalla. Madeiran parhaassa paikassa Funchalin vanhakaupunki ei tarvitse autoa ja voit kävellä kaikkiin nähtävyyksiin. Erittäin rauhallinen paikka, sijaitsee sata vuotta vanhassa kiinteistössä, jossa jokaisella on oma yksityinen alue. Moderni talo, 1 makuuhuone, kylpyhuone suihkulla, olohuone ja täysin varustettu keittiö. Yksityinen meriterassi ja pääsy kiinteistön uima-altaalle, josta on näkymä Funchalin lahdelle ja joka sijaitsee meren yli.
Kiinteistön sisäänkäynti ja uima-allas ovat yhteisiä Irlannin huvilan (ilmoitus 8331476) ja huviloita voi vuokrata yhdessä.

Tämä huvila on saanut hyvää palautetta majoituspaikan yleiskunnosta. Majoituspaikka sijaitsee vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä kohteesta Complexo Balnear Barreirinhan uintipaikka. Majoituspaikka tarjoaa asiakkailleen esimerkiksi pyykinpesutilat. Huvilassa tarjoaa asiakkaiden käyttöön muun muassa keittiön ja parvekkeen.

Fabulous accommodation

This stand-allone apartment is absolutely a very nice place. Very calm, fantastic view to Funchal, all needed equipment, direct acces to the water (even with some obstacles: Funchal is a rock!). The owner Carlos was allways a big help, giving us tips and support. For sure, one of the best locations we had. Thanks a lot.

Welcome to paradise!

We had the best time in Funchal! This little house is perfectly located, walking distance for the town of Funchal. Breathtaking views on the ocean, an amazing and sunny terrace and the infinity pool! So relaxing! The house was extremely clean and well equipped. We spent 6 nights and we want to go back! We highly recommend! Five stars!

Perfect place to stay in Funchal

Once again we stayed at Funchal Seaside Villas and enjoyed every minute. Once there we were welcomed by Mara the housekeeper and good soul of the property. The place is just as we expected - nicely furnished with everything you need for a relaxed stay. The view from the terrace is breathtaking with great sunsets while you enjoy your evening meal. We will come again!

Exceptionnelle, à couper le souffle

Voilà maintenant 2 semaines que nous avons séjourné au sein de cette propriété et nous avons encore des étoiles dans les yeux ; c'était parfait, exceptionnelle. Les propriétaires véhiculent leur histoire et vous considère comme leur famille. Cette propriété est chargée d'amour. Au delà de la beauté magnifique de l'île, cette maison vous ouvre une nouvelle parenthèse dans votre journée. C'est une joie que de se réveiller au bord de l'océan avec cette vue incroyable. Notre enfant nous réclame encore la maison de vacance. Plus précisément, la maison est tout équipé, apporte tout le confort nécessaire et la propriétaire est au petit soin, dans vos valises vous ne devez prévoir que vos affaires personnelles et avec l'avion c'est très appréciable. Je pourrai dire encore tellement de chose sur notre semaine de vacance mais ce serait trop long et la seule chose importante c'est que vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés et être heureux d'avoir trouvé cette offre de location !

Spoiled holiday by building work, large cranes and dishonest owners

We had to leave this property 4 days into our 7 day stay, this indicates the seriousness of the problems we had with this property and its owners. We booked only 4 weeks prior to the stay and we were really looking forward to our only holiday of 2019, we had earned it. Upon arrival they felt obliged to apologise for any noise we would hear as some “delayed” building work was going on around the property. At that point in time we could neither see nor hear any building work going on, other than a large orange crane that had been permanently lashed to the terrace of the property to seemingly facilitate some sort of building work. Upon closer inspection the crane left nearly a half of our terrace unusable and extremely dangerous to be around, especially at night with many trip hazards. We eventually used the sunbeds as safety barriers to stop us walking in that area inadvertently. The crane also impacted on the wonderful views. Look to the right and you have Funchal harbour, look to the left and you have a large orange crane! Sadly, the owner and her representatives had deceived us from the moment we booked the property. Disclosure of the ongoing building work and the large orange crane should have been advised before our arrival so that WE could decide whether it was suitable. Ultimately. the owner made the choice for us by not telling us. We had not been advised of any ongoing building work prior to our arrival and had not been advised that there would be a large orange crane fixed on the terrace. The property itself is functional. Bathroom small. Sofa is not the one on the website and is very uncomfortable. We complained several times about the building noise but the owners would not stop it. Even a categoric guarantee that it would stop on the third day didn’t happen. They were back on the fourth day and even noisier. We’d had enough. Nothing we could say to the owners would make any difference to the building work stopping, and that large orange crane was a permanent fixture and going nowhere. So, we booked a hotel in Funchal for our final 3 days and moved out of the property the next morning. We gave the owners father the keys back and advised them that we would be raising a formal complaint with HomeAway upon our return home. The owners father eventually conceded it was unacceptable and said he would refund ALL our money. At the time of this review the owners have not done this. Formal complaint has been opened with HomeAway and is ongoing.

Fantastic Funchal

We spent a week in Patricia’s property at the end June and the first few days of July. The position of the villa allowed us to enjoy the breath taking views over Funchal and the port area . All the facilities within the property was as we needed and the use of the infinity pool allowed us to cool off during the hot days. The patio area is large and spacious . We were greeted by Carlos, Patricia’s father, who showed us around the property and gave us a full run down on the facilities available. We spent most evenings at the property, as we generally went into Funchal for lunch in the old town , and enjoyed the facilities and the view. Would recommend this property to any couple that seek a relaxing and restful time in Madeira.

Lovely

It is a very sweet little guesthouse that has an incredible view of the ocean and harbor in Funchal. The area is quiet and you can walk to restaurants and shopping. It feels private from the rest of the property thanks to banana trees and a very sweet garden. We loved our week stay and are planning on coming back. They are also very helpful with recommending restaurants etc and their maid brought us the most wonderful fresh baked muffins one day. The bottle of wine, fresh fruit and yogurt was a very nice touch after a long trip. Highly recommended!

Excellent!

My husband and I had a great week staying here. The amazing views are exactly as per the photos. The little house is first rate - clean and well-appointed. Comfy bed. Very quiet at night. Decent shower, which is always a plus. Nice welcome pack of wine, cake, fruit and biscuits. The gorgeous terrace immediately in front of the house is exclusive to you, though the pool and surrounding areas are near by and communal, and shared by two other rental properties - so you're quite close to your fellow holiday makers. Location is good, near the old town and an easy walk to the bus station and much of Funchal. Mara and Patricia are incredibly helpful recommending restaurants, taxi drivers etc. We really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it.

Patricia’s place is just perfect for a holiday in Funchal. She is extremely nice as is her staff. Location right next to the old town is really good and the view to the ocean and harbour beautiful. Ten points!

Lovely apartment with a great view

The apartment was lovely and meeting Mara who looked after it was delightful, she was a pleasure to deal with. The bed was comfy (very important to me) was disappointed that the tv didn't have our basic british channels as we are not night life people! the apartment is up a hill but that is to expected in Madeira! still it was fine and an easy walk into the old town. the balcony is a good size and you can watch the cruise ships coming and going, overall i would recommend this apartment.

Beyond expectations, truly perfect

We spent the month of February at Isabel's Cottage and couldn't have asked for more. The owners were on site, genuinely friendly and helpful, and their housekeeper was outstanding. All of them went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be. The cottage itself was small but it had everything we needed, and it was newly renovated and charming. It had privacy provided by plantings and fences, but the property as a whole would also be ideal for a group of friends or a family reunion as it comprises three self-contained rentals with one more planned, and a shared infinity swimming pool. The owners' home is also on site. The property was a large estate that is still being gradually renovated by the family that has owned it for generations into an elegant and charming resort. The location is high on a cliff at the edge of the ocean with a view of the harbor to the right. We were glad we'd brought binoculars with us for viewing cruise ships, fishing boats, charter boats, and sailing schools. The charming old town is an easy walk, with excellent restaurants everywhere. We also found the supermarket easy to walk to. If groceries get too heavy to carry home, there are taxis galore. During the month we were there we took three Jeep tours, so we had a chance to see the whole island and learn its history. The many microclimates, the seaside towns and the mountains are amazing. We came home impressed and very glad we chose Madeira, and Isabel's Cottage in particular, for our stay.

Einfach nur Klasse !!!

Tolles Haus, tolle Gastgeber, toller Blick, tolle Lage !!! Am Rande der Altstadt gelegen, bietet das Haus, die Terrasse und der anliegende Garten mit Pool einfach alles, was man braucht, um sich wohl zu fühlen. Morgens laufen die Kreuzfahrtschiffe direkt vor der Terrasse in den Hafen ein, abends bei Sonnenuntergang laufen sie wieder aus. Im Pool verschwimmen die Oberflächen von Pool und Meer, einfach nur schön. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und für zwei Personen ideal. Die Terrasse ist äußerst großzügig und bietet durch eine anliegende Bepflanzung einen optischen Schutz, so dass die Privatsphäre gewahrt bleibt. Das Grundstück selber wie auch die Terrasse bieten einen beeindruckenden Blick auf das Meer, was durch die Lage ca. 50 Meter über dem Meer noch gesteigert wird. Den Pool teilt man sich mit den anderen Bewohnern der kleinen Gemeinschaft (1 Appartement für zwei Personen und 1 Appartement für 4 Personen). Das hat uns jedenfalls in keiner Weise gestört. Dieses Teilen führte eher zu interessanten Begegnungen und Gesprächen. Die Gastgeber sind einmalig. Freundlich, immer hilfsbereit, offen, aber auch immer bestrebt, die Privatsphäre der Gäste zu achten. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Sollten wir die Insel wieder besuchen, werden wir auf jeden Fall versuchen, das kleine Haus zu buchen. Es ist ideal

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus, tolle Lage

Wir fanden das Haus, den Garten, die Vermieterin und die Lage super. Wunderschöne Sicht aufs Meer, den Hafen und Funchal. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet, alles sauber. Patricia hat uns selbst empfangen, im Haus stand Obst, Wein, Kuchen und Joghurt für uns bereit. Aus dem Garten durften wir frische Feigen und Papaya ernten. Den Pool fanden wir auch genial. Zu Fuß in die Stadt läuft man nur ein paar Minuten. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub, gerne kommen wir wieder.

Traumhafter Urlaub

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Villa. Sie ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Die Lage ist einfach toll, direkt am Meer und in 20 Min ist man in der Altstadt von Funchal. Patricia und Mara sind immer für die Gäste da. Der Pool mit Blick aufs Meer war ein Highlight. Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause und wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Balkon über dem Meer

Die Lage mit dem Blick über die Bucht von Funchal ist unübertrefflich. Und Bei Dunkelheit wird man mit einem Lichtermeer überrascht. Auch der Weg in die Altstadt von Funchal ist nicht weit. Auf dem Weg findet man schöne Restaurants, die mit größerer Nähe zur Altstadt, dann auch touristischer werden. - Aber ... das Beste ist die warme und freundliche Gastfreundschaft der Vermieter, die immer behilflich sind - und der grüne "Bananengarten".🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Wetter: ⛅️ 🌤🌧🌦🌤

We had a wonderful welcome when we arrived to our accommodation which was perfect for us with the most amazing views. We couldn’t fault anything. The traditions and passion that this Island holds is overwhelming. We’ve booked this accommodation again later this year so we can see more of Maderia.

Outstanding property, fabulous hosts. We will be back!

We have just returned home from a week of paradise at Isabel's Villa. The property is immaculate with views that take your breath away. There is everything you need and more in the villa for a perfect stay. The owners of the property are helpful and so thoughtful and accommodating. We already are planning our return visit to Madeira and will without doubt stay again at Isabel's Villa.

Ein kleines, aber sehr feines Paradies

Man könnte zwei Wochen lang nur die Aussicht und das entzückende Haus genießen. Zwischendurch, okay, mal 'ne Runde im Pool schwimmen... Wer mag schlendert in die Stadt und lässt es sich dort gut ergehen. Ansonsten genießt man eben Madeira mit seiner Sonne, Farbvielfalt, Blumenpracht, Berg-und Levadawanderungen und genießt hier und da einen Kaffee, Wein oder was so in den Sinn kommt. Die Haushälterin Mara ist immer ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gemeinsam mit Carlos, einem der Eigentümer, ist sie die gute Seele der Anlage. Eine besonders aufmerksame und liebevolle Person, die dem Urlaub noch die persönliche Note verleiht. Wir waren als Familie da (2+1) und haben jeden Sonnenaufgang, Untergang und die Tage und Nächte dazwischen genossen. Vielen Dank!
