the property was easily accessible to the beach, Wal-Mart, and Seawall Blvd. There are a lot of restaurants on Seawall Blvd and the Galveston Convention Center is within walking distance of the hotel. Parking is $10/daily, and there is a snack area near the front desk. The snacks are a bit pricey but I was hungry so I had to grab something to eat. The room was nice. I had a double bed; the room was nice and spacious but lighting was an issue. There were two lights in between the beds but there wasn't a desk lamp so I had to depend on the natural lighting or distance lights to allow me to work on my computer. The bathroom was really nice and it looked as though there were some recent updates. The water was extremely hot (which is a good thing) and the pressure was good. I had an issue with the cleanliness of the shower though because there was hair left in the shower which tells me that it was not cleaned thoroughly. I was only there for one night and I slept pretty good. There was a slight stench, odor, smell coming from the carpet which was a little annoying but I made it through the night. the tv had plenty of channels to choose from and there was a fridge and microwave in the room as well. The hotel was a cheaper option but I was still satisfied with the exception of the "unclean" shower. 3/5 stars.
