Äskettäin uusittu ja varustettu jaetulla uima-altaalla ja kylpytynnyrillä. Tämä koiraystävällinen huoneisto on elinvoimainen väri ja merenrantapaikka, josta sinun on koettava mahtava Galveston!

Tämä Pointe West Resortiin kuuluva huoneisto on helppo pääsy joihinkin upeimmista rannoista Galvestonin saaren länsipuolella. Ihaile pehmeää hiekkaa omalta parvekkeeltasi tai vie koirasi (tervetuloa pientä yömaksua vastaan) kävelylle dyynien yli. Empty beach on a Full Moon!

We were here to recharge at the ocean under the full moon, and it was wonderful! The condo is comfortable, clean, and has a lot of amenities onsite. I loved the perfect view, the quiet private patio, and the working elevator! The slightly lower score that I gave for the Communication and Accuracy sections of this review are only because I specifically asked if there is a grill we could use, and I was told it was on our patio. Because we brought our dog, we could not use the grills on the pool deck, no dogs allowed there, which ended up being where the grill really was. Each time I asked a question, a different person answered in the chat, so although the communication was fast, it was not consistent or fully informed, but always polite and helpful. So, we ended up not being able to do a BBQ dinner as planned, but we jerry-rigged it on the condo stovetop just fine.. not a big deal, but preventable for future guests.We had a great time and plan to make this a regular rental for us and our future beach trips. Thank you!

Fantastic place on the beach!

The property was nice, location on the beach was excellent, there were a couple of howevers…. The coffee machine was broken so we had to drive to get coffee 13 minutes away. We went into Galveston which is about 30 minutes away. Traffic coming back took over an hour. So the drive time is unpredictable. The lock on the door is tricky if you don’t completely read the directions paying full attention.

No ELEVATOR

Unit is exactely like the pictures posted. Best view ever! Some reviewed the unit as moldy/ humidity smelling, I'm a Florida gal & it's not a moldy scent it's straight up pet/ dog/ scent, kinda disgusting actually! Sides of bed in master bedroom were lined with sand. USB chargers installed behind end tables in master did not work at all. Charged phones in the bathroom. Unit had all items needed for a long term stay but you do need to bring coffee filters/coffee. Toilet paper/ paper towels/ dish soap/ dishwasher/ shampoo/ conditioner/ bath soap items provided but enough for 2 days. Pots/ pans/ dishes/ sheet pans/ provided. But NO elevator was a huge problem! As someone who had reconstructive surgery n cannot lift more than a coffee cup, this was an issue! My husband drove back into Houston for work Mon/ Tuesday AM n I had to check out solo, this wasn't cool! Overall unit was pleasant besides the odor!

Pleasantly Surprised!

Based on some of the other reviews, I was concerned about our stay. I called ahead of time to ensure everything would be there when we arrived. They delivered! The place was spotless, we had plenty of pillows, kitchen stuff, towels, etc. The view was awesome, very quiet when we stayed. Just be aware it is a little ways in to town, but that's what we loved the most because it wasn't crowded and really quiet!

Quick getaway

Nightmare

No heat, no hot water, no blankets and no host. One of the beds didn’t even have sheets and the kitchen lacks adequate cookware. This place is not fit for humans and should be removed from VRBO.

Overall, a decent place. Low water pressure and the air in the unit when we first arrived was stagnant but once we opened doors and turned up the air it was fine. Very minimal kitchen supplies. Dont bother trying to cook a decent meal or even a frozen pizza there's no pan for that

Beautiful location, serene, beach front was perfect just a moldy.

Perfect condo outside of the noisy congested downtown area. Beautiful beach front, not packed at all. Had all the privacy in the world, pleasant staff, spacious condo. Only two cons, there was the overwhelming strong mold smell, the hvac ducts were moldy and damp so the mold smell filled the condo and we ended up leaving early because our sinuses and headaches were so bad. Sheets and towels were super saturated with the smell. Definitely know what cookware you need before showing up because it’s very sparse. Bring your own coffee as well and snacks etc. Had a broom to sweep floors but no other cleaning supplies so if you want to clean between meals bring your own. Other con was we couldn’t access pool the first night because we arrived right at 5 and the reception area was closed so I wasted $50 on bands I couldn’t use. I had called ahead and to no avail so that sort of took away the point of booking the unit because we like to swim in the evenings. Chatbot was as accommodating as you can expect but having prepaid for the bands I’d would have liked to have been able to get full use of them. Balcony was awesome just don’t sit in most of the chairs they’re rusted and most were rusted together and broken stacked in the corner. Condo was cool though so if you’re a hot sleeper the HVAC definitely keeps you more than comfortable. No food delivery, it’s a remote area but well worth the location. Would stay here in the mold would be remediated because the location is sublime!

Looks good from a far

I was slightly disappointed by this property, but there was some really nice things too. So mixed feelings here. The property is far from anything else (which is good and bad). The grounds of the property are pretty, well kept, and the pool area is really nice. I was pleasantly suprised by that. Getting into the condo itself was interesting. Stairs are safer than taking the elevator. I thought it was going to break on our way up, it went extremely slow and jerked. It was concerning. Once in the condo, it had a funky smell. We are totally dog people, but there was a urine smell in the condo. Also, I sat on the couch in my black shirt and I found myself covered in white long dog hair. The kitchen was VERY minimally stocked. I went to cook cinnomon rolls and there wasn't a baking pan at all. That was disappointing. All the beds were comfortable, but there weren't any extra pillow cases for the pillows in the closet. So we had 1 pillow each. Just bare minimum. My teens went to go to the game room at 7pm and were turned away because it's only over 18 after 6pm. Again, super disappointing since you can't check-in until 4pm amd game room is unacceptable shortly after that. The biggest positives are the pool and the grounds. Pretty on the outside and great location as far as being able to walk out to the beach. This property looked good from a far, but did not meet my expectations.

Water shut off and some amenities not available

This house is beautiful and on the water. We loved having an ocean view and being far from town where it was quiet and peaceful. That being said, during our stay we received two notices that the water would be shut off and to fill our bathtubs with water so we could fill the toilet to flush. In total, the water was off for two days from about 8am to 2pm both days, making it hard to do any morning activities (running, ocean swimming, working out) because we weren't able to shower. The guest bathroom shower did not get very warm, leaving all of us to take turns using the shower in the master suite. There were no beach towels at the house and the kitchen was oddly equipped (three coffee pots but no baking pan and very few drinking glasses). Lastly, the second pool and the bar were not open the week we were there, and despite having paid for amenities bracelets from th Beach Club some of the amenities (ping pong, pool table) still required payment to use, so the fee was really only for the main pool I guess. Overall being by the water was a treat but not having a water for a few days really changed how we structured our week, and prevented a few morning runs and workouts. We contacted Vacasa about this for a possible partial refund and after three phone calls and never being called back I finally found out the request was declined, which was disappointing.

Best place we've ever stayed near Galveston

Excellent staff, great condo, incredible view, awesome pool, clean and open beach with no cars or bad behavior, great food and drinks. Can't wait to visit here again.
