Black Bear Guest

The cabin is a great location with fantastic views. It is no joke that you will need a 4x4 car or SUV to get up the mountain roads. I am happy we stayed with no snow at the time.Upon our arrival at 6pm, the cabin was not turned/cleaned from the previous nights guest. We were able to call and contact the Property Manager, who was extremely responsive and attentive to our issue. Ownership was also caring, apologetic for the mishap, and check-in later on any further assistance. The communication was clear and prompt, and a cleaning staff was sent out off-hours to turn over the house.Other than that, our week long stay was great. The cabin is spacious and our kids enjoyed the bunk beds, arcade game, and hot tub.On our check-out morning, we had an unexpected guest arrive. An extremely large black bear walked up to the cabin, sniffed our car, and was nosing the garbage container system. He was harmless, but I do advise on stickily following the bear rules on cars, garbage, and keeping doors shut. Overall great stay.

Lovely Cabin

This property was as advertised. It was very comfortable and had many amenities to make your stay comfortable. It was very remote in a quiet neighborhood. The views were very beautiful.

After new years stay

Cabin is in a great location for an amazing view of the mountains. We had several issues with the cabin and reached out via email to the property manager with concerns and received no response. since they were not addressed, I will list them here.More than one of the beds had hair in the sheets. The upstairs shower was dirty, with black mildew. the door to the upstairs bathroom would not close without lifting it up, due to a loose hinge.there were cobwebs throughout the cabin in areas easy to see, that should have been easy to clean. the door to the downstairs bedroom was dirty.the stairs need to be repaired as the leading edge of the bottom stair is broken/loose and presents a trip/fall hazard. lastly the deadbolt on the front door to the cabin does not lock.

Very comfortable in this cabin. Loved the views! The best part was the visitors .... mama bear and 3 cubs. On a different day a huge male bear. They were eating acorns on the deck!

Amazing view

Views were amazing even in middle of summer with trees, even had a few bear visits. We found the vacuum to help take care of the cobwebs that we found. We also lost some food like a previous guest because the fridge wouldn’t get below 50. Kids loved running upstairs to flush the toilet to spray the unsuspecting person on the downstairs toilet.

Four stars, room for improvement

We stayed for a long weekend for our anniversary. Everything was as described. Hot tub had lots of debris from trees. Don’t think the sheet were clean, had hair and crumbs in the bed. Messaged VRBO 1 day prior to leaving to ask a question about kitchen, got a response on day 3 of our stay. Otherwise it was great!

Maintenance needed

Location was great and cabin was good but definitely could have been better. First morning there we woke up to everything half thawed in freezer, lost about $100 of food then had to eat out more than expected. Called the maintenance number and they called back for issue, said they’d call back but never did. Kept noticing water on 1st floor toilet seat, realized when toilet flushed upstairs it would blow air out toilet. Also gutters were completely clogged and leaked when rained, also downspout was laying on ground next to the deck by hot tub

The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. It was so cozy and the beds were so comfy. The views of the mountains were the cherry on top. Will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Cabin!

We loved our stay in this beautiful cabin! It was the perfect size for the 5 of us. The decor was really well done, with being a mix of modern and pretty mountain decor. The family room sectional was very comfortable for all of us to hang out in, and the beds were comfortable too! The back deck view of the mountains was gorgeous, and we really enjoyed the jacuzzi and gas fire pit. The arcade games were a definite hit as well. We highly recommend and would come back to this one!
