Terrible stay

The room we were put in was not the room that I booked online. We were supposed to have a soaking tub with a private balcony of the Creekside and we had neither. The room had a funky odor to it. Only 1 trash can and there was even a toilet paper holder. The door didn’t have any trim on the bottom of the door so cold air was coming all the time. The parking lot is terrible to get in and out of parking spot. We ended up leaving the room after one night of staying because the mattress was so hard you couldn’t even sleep good. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to anybody to stay in.

Could not take a shower because there was zero hot water. Curtain not all the way on and light came through window. Bathroom light burned out and there was no closet to hang clothes. When I mentioned it to front desk, they said remodel wasn’t finished yet would not reimburse some money because it was booked through Expedia.

How easy is it get around the area everything right there. And love the creek you open your back porch and you see a beautiful running creek stuff is friendly as well Will stay here again

Stayed at the quality inn hillsaide complex which was located couple blocks away. Room issues we had was the ac unit was not cooling the room which the temp was set at 60. Fridge needed defrosting because it was not keep cool. Tub was noy holding water and shower curtain rail was loose and could have fell. We would have requested another room if we would have stayed more than 1 day 2 nights. I did report this and they did took down my issues and said they will give me a discount. I was happy that they took my concerns seriously.

Horrid

This is by far the worst place we have stayed in Gatlinburg. The elevator was out of order. We had to lug our luggage up the stairs to find the room had no hot water. I called the front desk twice to report it. First time, i was told maintenance would be right up. Second time, same response. 30 minutes later, i tried the water again. It was hot. I called the front desk again. The attendant told me maintenance went to the boiler room and turned the water on. Nobody came to my door or called to tell me this. I wasted two hours of a one night stay waiting on maintenance. Also, no sprinkler system in the room. The bathroom floor was dirty. It had not even been swept. We will never stay there again.

They are upgrading the rooms i hope but it took up a significant amount of parking in the part of the hotel we were in. The dumpster was right outside our mainfloor door and window. The shower curtain rod needed to be replaced and was sagging so the curtain was partially laying in the tub floor. We were charged for parking and then i got a message about how parking there was free. We were given no kind of parking tag so it really didn't matter anyway. We did get a refund but i had to show him my email and it took longer than expected. The location was perfect bc we could walk to everything downtown. However, we won't stay again just bc everything seemed old and not in great shape.

Was not told hotel was under construction. Loud banging, power tools etc early in morning. Elevators were out of service. Carpet was dirty and hadnt been vacuumed after previous guests checked out. Exhaust fan in bathroom was hamging from ceiling. Balcony chair was old and broken.

Room was overall in disrepair. Sink was leaky, mold in the bathroom, and pool was in major need of being skimmed. Staff was very friendly and location was great. Fees for parking was unexpected
