The property was just ok. Very Noisy though due to close proximity of highway. Perhaps some double glazed glass would have kept noise out. Do have dinner there! Food is good. Staff are pleasant not friendly. Ammenities need to be upgraded. Ac broke down during the night. We cooked all night.But they were attentive to it in the morning. Ask for Romel to take you around. He is friendly.

I booked a room with the balcony (luxury suite) and did not receive a balcony. The pool which is part of the amenities and the main reason i booked the hotel, was unfer renovation which will last 5 weeks. (09/25/25, the date i visited). I was not informed thru expedia at all. I was notified at the hotel at the very last minute when i asked about the pool.

This was my second stay at GCH and it was just as enjoyable as the first. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially our waitress Leshawn, who made our experience even better. The only drawback was that the pool was closed for renovations, which was a bit disappointing

I have stayed at grand costal a lot of times due to work but I was never placed in a old gloomy room with cracked walls, tv remote not working and a paint job that looks like it was done in a hurry just to name a few this was the first time. If it was me alone I wouldn't have mind but after bragging so much about grand costal to my partner. And when I finally take her to the hotel on a date night we were placed in probably the oldest room the hotel has. To be honest I was so disappointed because I had never had this experience with the hotel before probably all the good rooms were booked out but I think it should've been communicated. But besides that the customer service and the food are off the charts probably best in the business.

The property is under construction and the pool is closed. We brought our kids to Guyana to enjoy the site seeing and they wanted a hotel with a pool. Unfortunately we were not notified in advance of our stay. The highway noise made it hard to sleep.

My stay at the Grand Coastal was very convenient and relaxing. From the check in and checkout process there was no hassle. The staff made sure to check in with us when we were leaving and coming back to the hotel to make sure we were safe. The room was beautiful and very cleanly. I would definitely stay here again.
