This was an excellent hotel that we stayed at for a family road trip. The staff were excellent and I would also recommend the bar and Lof restaurant too. We had a lovely time at the Spa and would say the location is very convenient with most landmarks within walking distance. We will certainly return!

The best hotel in Gent!

By far the best hotel in Gent, only a few minutes walk from the centre, really good food options in the hotel and nearby. The rooms are amazing with a real luxury feel.

Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Reylof was a wonderful option for our stay in Ghent. Close to the major sights in Ghent, including Gravenstein and St Bavo Cathedral (with the incredible Van Eyck alterpiece - don't miss it), the staff was very helpful. The hotel has a spa and a lovely atrium garden. Despite its great location, the hotel was quiet and restful. And, it has great restaurants! Its Michelin restaurant was closed on the night we were there, but, we needn't have worried, their "casual" bistro was also fabulous. Highly recommended!

Practically Perfect Hotel

I loved my stay here and only wish it was longer. The staff are kind, friendly and helpful, everyone says hi as you walk through the hotel. The building is beautiful with sumptuous relaxing interior decor from the restaurant to the garden to the room. The room had everything I could need including a balcony with a view over the garden. And to top it all off there is a stylish relax spa with excellent massage and pleasant pool.

This is a beautiful, spacious two bedroom apartment with all the benefits of home. What it lacks is information. This starts with check in. They use a "digital key" as if everyone on earth knows what that is. I don't and no one I know does. It's not hard to operate once you have it and someone tells you how to use it, but until then, it's just the source of frustration. Same problem inside this beautiful space. How do you work the heat? It is chilly outside we need heat. We are left to play with the registers and hope. You know the old saying about "assuming" that people know how to operate everything? They don't. At home, we keep a notebook explaining everything. You could do the same AND then this would be magnificent.

Pillows is a beautiful, modern hotel. Our room was large - although they staged a large TV at the foot end of the bed, in effect cutting off the view of 2/3rd's of the room. This is a full service hotel that charges big city prices for everything, so be prepared. Two side points. One, they have no water - except in bottles - UNLESS it's to their advantage. So at the breakfast buffet (which is really good), they have "free" water. Anywhere else in the building it several euros. Last, I must note that I made a reservation for the wrong night - off by one - immediately tried to change and was told "too late" or the equivalent. Do not reserve here unless you make sure you have the right night(s) and pay a bit more for the right to change until you are absolutely certain. I'm still surprised by the manner in which we were treated on the issue - especially because the hotel itself, and the staff are just terrific.

Great hotel, central but in a quiet area. Breakfast is costly for leisure visitors €33/€35 per day. Lots of nearby cafes & restaurants. Very clean great rooms, very pleasant environment. Faultless. Reception is very helpful & friendly, relaxed environment. Lovely Spa, sauna & small pool, a real oasis in the city. Easy links to train station by trams T1, T3 & T4 with stops nearby (often not shown on google planner. Just be careful you go in the correct direction! Costs €2.50 just touch in with bank card on WHITE terminal (no touch out), can change trams/bus within 1hr for no extra cost.
