I had a very good night's sleep. Comfy bed and blackout curtains. Quiet on the first floor - thankfully. Lots of choice at breakfast. Shame no Earl Grey tea option.

We were 2 friends going to see Simply Red at the OVO Hydro. Hotel was clean and comfortable and very friendly staff. Only had breakfast which was lovely. Was not too far to walk to the Hydro and the price was very reasonable.

We stayed for one week during our first international trip and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House keeping cleaned the rooms daily and were very thorough; parking was directly across the street and affordable compared to other parking locations! The St. Enoch shopping centre and Princes square along with all downtown amenities were all within walking distance! Daily complimentary breakfast was very good with many options! We had an excellent stay!

The Holiday Inn Express Riverside was great for our 2 night stay in Glasgow. The room was small but very clean and the bed was comfortable. The pub across the street was a little noisy but only until 11 pm. It is about 900m walk from Glasgow Central and 500m from St. Enoch subway. So well located. Also a terrific breakfast was included. Not suitable for a long stay but comfortable enough for 2 nights

This was a twin room, so logically the room facilities should cater for TWO people, so why was there only ONE chair, why was the bathroom shelving unable to entertain both sets of towels for two people leaving the second persons towels stuffed on shelf in the bedroom. Holiday Inn aren’t alone in this shameless con, almost every hotel chain does this, and Expedia is as much to blame for it continuing unabated as the hoteliers and it needs to stop, it also I would think breaches the various uk consumer laws because if you are selling the room as a two person or more room it should cater for said amount of persons in all aspects of the room facilities including seating. Other than that the room was okay if very dated in decor, it’s unfortunate because the staff are wonderful, the breakfast good and Glasgow is great.
