The hotel is tired and we arrived at 9 and the kitchen was closed . However the staff were lovely did advise we could get a takeaway and they would give us plates etc . We had spotted a Wetherspoon close and went there . Couldn’t fault the staff

The towel that was in our room was covered in holes. Not good enough for the price of the hotel
I've stayed here many times over the years and its a decent enough hotel.
Rooms are a little dated but fit for purpose.
Location is great for Glasgow west end.
Staff are great and breakfast is decent enough also.
Large car park but might be chargeable.
Havent ate there often but its pretty expensive from what I can remember.

Beds were fresh and clean but the overall cleanliness of the room could have been better. The room looked a little tired and overused. The breakfast was available with choice of cooked and cereal and fruit.
The staff were helpful and polite. Just feel the room I was in needs a little TLC.
Comfy convenient great stay. Good night sleep with no issues

Stayed at this property before and was given a room next to the lift which was extremely noisy. Mentioned this at check in and was assured we had a different room. Room was clean but small. However it was particularly warm even though the temperatures were fairly average for august, dread to think what it would be like during a heatwave. The window only opened slightly and if the blackout curtains were closed no fresh air got through anyway. A fan was provided but with only plugs near the tv this meant it was a fair way from the bed making sleeping uncomfortable. Onto the plugs issue.. the hotel hairdryer is wired in through a desk draw with minimal cable. This meant there was no way to see in either the room mirror or the bathroom mirror, whilst using. I had taken my own hairdryer but the problem was still bad due to the lack of electric outlets. Overall although the room was clean it was very small and needs aircon or further plug sockets for use of provided fans.

I love this hotel for its location & I’ve stayed here regularly for many years, but it really is in need of updating now. The cost of staying here has risen dramatically recently but the standard hasn’t. Cold showers are a regular occurrence here which is just really frustrating. The staff here are fabulous though
Hotel is a little “tired,” doesn’t look nearly as nice in person as it does in pictures. Bathroom very tiny, not much room for stuff except a 2-inch shelf, no plugs near the bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast is worth it to pay in advance, a lot ot options and full sized breakfast.
The lobby was ok. After that it’s downhill. The rooms have sticky carpet, there’s no AC. There were moths in the room on arrival.
We were told there’s no rooms available to change to. It’s popular but with road workers - honestly, they deserve better if that’s what the companies provided them with.
Don’t stay here unless if you want to stay awake with the sound of seagulls or the thoughts of bugs and how grimy the whole place was.

Staff extremely accomodating. Friendly and supportive. Its location right next to a garage car park and many commuters. Lone traveller felt safe. The decor you can tell hotel taken over an old hotel but clean enough. Will stay again

The check in staff hotel staff as a whole were great happy to help the bed was comfy I just feel the rooms n bathroom could do with a make over for what I paid for stay I feel other hotel chains have better rooms/bathrooms
The photos do not match the facility. The rooms are worn, dank, and in need of a refresh. The walls and carpet of the halls were dirty and showed signs of poor attempts at repair. It was just sad and not inviting. While the lobby was inviting and in better shape than the rest of the place, it still fell short of the picture-perfect image. I kinda felt catfished.
