Will absolutely be staying again!

The staff were very quick and kind even after a fire alarm had to evacuate the building and no one would have blamed them for being a bit hectic! The drinks at the bar were lovely. Not only were the rooms immaculate but so were all the communal areas such as the foyer, corridors, lift and bathrooms.

Loved all the lounge space on mground floor and desk staff professionals. Bar person never made an Irish coffee before and no experience as bar tender. No bar snacks or apptizers.Room very small. No ameneties like bottle of water, shower cap, hair products or biscuits. Empty milk packages.

Convenient, but very minimal

The lobby and check-in service were great. When we got to the room we were surprised to see how minimal it is for such a nice seeming hotel. There was only one plug for the entire room, as well as no shampoo, conditioner, iron, or small fridge as there is in usual hotels (and cheaper ones in the area) . Cable on the TV lagged quite a bit but they have a screenshare option which was nice. There was also no way to control the temperature in the room other than opening the window, which was very loud. I was expecting more from a hotel in this price range, however the proximity to central station is convenient.

Weekend Stay

We stayed over for two nights and had no reason to complain about anything. Motel One location is perfect in the centre of Glasgow and two minutes from Glasgow Central train station. The staff at reception and bar were very friendly and helpful but we can't rate the food since we were room only. If I was being picky, i'd say the rooms are a bit small, but the shower was great and the bed really comfortable. The soundproofing must also be really good as we slept well with no obvious noise from outside or other rooms which is a bonus. We've already booked Motel One for our next couple of trips to Glasgow. Can't recommend it any better than that.

We needed to catch a train from Glasgow Central really early so needed accommodation close to station. Room was quite small and squeazy for our liking. Had to leave too early to comment on breakfast. Check in was not the best. First guy's computer failed and his system went down. Handed over to second guy who was not so friendly or helpful. Later queue for check in was huge. No chance to ask a simple question. Was quiet enough. 3.75/5.

It is a new modern hotel. The spaces in the bedroom are a bit small, but the price is very convenient, and just a few steps away from the Central station

This is the best hotel I have stayed in for some time. The staff were excellent, a credit to the company, but the best part was the room - smart and comfortable and amazingly quiet for the location. The only downside, and it is a small one, is that the breakfast area is rather small for such a large hotel. Perhaps it was that everyone decided to get breakfast at the same time! People were getting in the way of one another, and not waiting in a considerate manner. However, this was a minor irritation which did not spoil my stay. For me, the location virtually next to Glasgow Central station, was the trump card.

This place was great 2- 3 Min walk from the train / lots to see around / close to centre / complaint would be the size of the room it was crazy small - bathroom nice but also small - with 2 people and luggage no room to move or sit anywhere but on the bed - king bed comfie but took up about 80% of the room
