It was not what I expected. Very beautiful Hotel, full of history. The staff was wonderful and so helpful. They recommend places to visit and I was not disappointed. I definitely want to visit again!

Nice hotel but false advertising

We have stayed here before and love the history behind the hotel so for this stay we booked the Roosevelt suite. The description of the room says that it sleeps 5 people. While the room is large, there is 1 king size bed, a couch in the living room that doesn't have a pull out bed and another decorative couch in the bedroom that also doesn't have a pull out bed. We had to get a roll off bed delivered for our 14 year old and our 11 year old slept on the couch. So I wasn't to pleased about that. Breakfast was really tasty but dinner was so-so. I got the bison strip steak and there was absolutely no flavor. My kids got the chicken Alfredo and loved it. They now charge you $15 per night to park where as before it was free. As mentioned before, we love the hotels history and location and would stay here again but felt like it was false advertising regarding the room.

Wonderful, perfect.

We stayed here for one night on our way home from a long road trip and were not disappointed. This hotel is opulent, to say the least, especially in the winter night lighting from the bridge. Our room was amazing and historically accurate, as far as I can tell, and the bed was very comfortable. Next time we stay here, I intend for it to be a destination so we can spend some time and really explore the town.

I really loved the location! So easy to walk over the bridge to shopping & restaurants. The historic nature of the building was fun and it is well maintained and very clean! Excellent service at check in as well as in the restaurant, bar, and coffee shop! The room was clean and comfortable. If I am able to visit again, this hotel is where I would stay.

It was really nice stay so conveniently close from everything. Nice and cosy vibe. Construction noise was a bit too much though so if you are sensitive about noise pls take note.

Great place with a lot of history and ambience. It’s a historical building, well maintained though age shows in some places, but there is a lots of space compared to modern chains. Staff is friendly and professional, and on site restaurant is a good option for dinner.
