The Neighborhood:
The home is located in Rocky Neck, one of Gloucester’s most iconic waterfront neighborhoods. Known for its art colony, harbor views, galleries, restaurants, and maritime character, Rocky Neck offers a walkable coastal setting with plenty to explore nearby.
For guests familiar with the area, please note that the space formerly occupied by the restaurant below is currently vacant and inactive. This allows for a quieter stay without the noise, foot traffic, or kitchen activity typically associated with an active waterfront restaurant.
Guests can visit local galleries, waterfront cafés, restaurants, and scenic harborfront spots, or head into downtown Gloucester for more dining, shopping, museums, and working waterfront views. Ravenswood Park is also nearby for peaceful hiking through woodlands and marshes.
Getting Around:
A car is helpful for exploring Gloucester, Cape Ann, and nearby beaches, though Rocky Neck offers walkable access to galleries, restaurants, cafés, and waterfront scenery.
The home is located steps from the Gloucester Water Shuttle, which offers seasonal service to different stops around town and is a fun, easy way to explore Gloucester from the water.
Downtown Gloucester, Good Harbor Beach, Niles Beach, Eastern Point, the Back Shore, Stage Fort Park, and Rockport are all accessible by short drive. Rideshare availability may vary seasonally.
Other Things to Note:
There are steps leading to the front entrance, as well as a staircase to access the upstairs sleeping areas.
The fireplaces are not available for guest use.
The loft features blackout shades that span the entire space, helping keep morning light out for a more restful sleep.
Parking is convenient, with free street parking available directly in front of the condo on Rocky Neck Avenue. During busier peak hours, guests may need to park within a short one-block walk, but parking is generally available nearby.
The home is located in a residential waterfront neighborhood, and we ask guests to be respectful of neighbors, observe quiet hours, and enjoy the property responsibly.
Traveling with little ones? A pack-and-play and high chair may be available upon request. Please let us know before your arrival if you would like either item so we can confirm availability and have it ready for your stay.
