Sunset Motel Review Clean, comfy room with free parking and friendly staff. Stayed in winter, so no AC needed. Wi-Fi was average – got the job done but nothing fast. Great budget spot for a simple overnight. Would stay again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5)

Very bad experience I booked 2 rooms for 7 person when my son ask at front desk for an extra Towel as there was only 2 towels in each room, front desk gave wired look and says we will charge your people make towel dirty I feel racist how can he say about me like this and how can he talk about my community. Also Ac is not working in rooms and floors and walls are not sound proof our neighbours doing party it was inconvenience to us. No floor mat in room and plugs don’t work for charging. I feel I paid for nothing good to this lodge. we would like to get refund for this kind of experience and inconvenience.

Stayed 2 nights at this hotel for a wedding. It was the cheapest option we can get at Golden. It was ok. The room was clean, well maintained and good. Nothing really fancy but overall it was great. Parking can be limited. Location was just on the highway and it is conveniently located within distance to restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay again in the future.

The hotel was clean and quiet. It's an older hotel that has been fixed up and maintained. It was comfortable in a very non fancy way. Some furniture showed considerable wear. All in all, it was a good, clean, affordable place. It's not fancy but good value for a shower and a comfortable bed.

Great spot to spend the night. Very clean and easily accessible from highway. Heads up, if you’re booking a pet friendly room through Expedia, it does not show up on their end. You have to tell them at the front desk/call in advance and they will give you a pet friendly room at an additional charge.
