Rude front office clerk

The front office person was very rude to the customer. We asked for 1 more bath towel but he said it’s not authorized. Refused to give us a towel. They provide a towel later. I never met any hotel’s front office person is rude to the cusomers.

Old town has its’ charm. I only found out about the historical church & other sites the day I left… Too bad, will visit Gongju again one day…. Overall, it’s a good stay. There’s a laundry steamer in the room!! Jumbo size tv screen & game station set up. Nice touch! The hotel is a 8mins walking distance to Tourist information center by Gangsanseong Fortress!! Also can walk to both Nuryeong & Royal tombs, National museum as well as Hanuk village.

Lovely little hotel, spotlessly clean with spacious bedroom and bathroom. Friendly reception staff. Good value for money. Excellent entertainment options on a huge TV. Limited food/drinks available on site but plenty of options nearby. Just to note that the hotel is in a part of town used by sex workers and many of the hotels in this area are love hotels with strip clubs nearby. (which made sense of the floor-to-ceiling mirrors by the bed and a few other design touches in our room!). This did not mean the area was unsafe - it was busy and well lit in the night time and the hotel was perfectly fine but it just might be a bit offputting if you are not aware in advance. We didn't have a problem and were happy with the hotel itself.

Lots of potential.

Parking was abundant and safe. Check in and out was extremely easy. Huge tv was cool and a desktop computer connected directly to it so we could stream all our content. Sound system on TV was poor. Room smelled like smoke the whole time. Hotel bar had a great view and decent beer. If not for the smoke smell, and the sound system id give this hotel a 5/5 for what you pay for.
