The building is old & is in need of a facelift/repair. You'd never book here if you were to go by the look of the building. It looks uninhabitable! My room was upstairs & inside to my surprise it was quite modern. My room was clean & comfy. Bathroom was small. It was close to everything I needed. It was very quiet for a Saturday night. I heard nothing so there sound proofing is great. Would I stay here again? Probably.

The sign said Carlton Draught hotel motel,Sign needs to be updated,quires painting,bathrooms require proper cleaning as there was sewerage smell venting back into the bathroom,beds were good pillows were flat and it was previously mentioned

I have stayed in the same room on my last three visits, all approximately 6 months apart. This time there were minor issues. The pedal rubbish bin was broken, the lid just fell off. while one of the wall light fittings had been "knocked" and was barely staying on the wall. The room generally clean, but it needed a little attention as mentioned above.
