Love the set up of the room, bathroom separates the 2 queen beds. Paint was peeling in bathroom and finish on the tub was also chipped. Dryer was not working and front desk person was not helpful… stating I don’t know I do not use it.

The check in was quick and everyone was very friendly. The first room we were given when we opened the door there was some machine in the room a little box either a dehumidifier or something else. We went to the desk to inform them and it seemed that the room we were given was supposed to be blocked off. They gave us a different room and asked us to inspect the room to ensure everything was in order. The second room was right down the hall and was clean and in order. There was a bottle of lotion left at the top inside the shower so that seems to have been overlooked during the cleaning. The water pressure was great in the whole room. The only other thing was that I booked the room with three adults and there were only enough towels for two adults. It would be nice if that would have been noticed upon check-in to see if we needed anything additional instead of having to go back and forth to the desk multiple times.

We had an excellent experience at this hotel. Good service, cleanliness, and friendliness. The only disappointment was that there was no breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. However, everything else was excellent. Thanks to all the staff. God bless you.

I find the high rating (8.3 as of my booking) for this property surprising. The wifi was abysmal and dropped out frequently. The shower head was broken and stuck on a barely usable setting. My room key stopped functioning after one day and had to be reset. All in all each was a little annoyance, but they added up to a subpar experience. The staff I interacted with were, however, very friendly.

Same as my previous reviews - rooms and especially trim need a fresh coat of paint, would transform all from shabby-looking to quite nice! Same vending machine out of order on my previous two visits, a week apart, including current visit. When vending is all that’s available (other than breakfast), the machines should always be working properly.

The staff is so nice. They have done a lot of updates. Bathroom could use an update but it was clean and the shower was good. New floors and bed. Had a small living room with the king size bed. The price was just right too. Super close to so many things. Great for the baseball tournament in the Grand Rapids area.
