This could be an outstanding property if money was spent on upgrades and proper training and etiquette is provided to the Management Team and Staff. There is no sense of urgency for addressing your needs. We arrived to the property at 5pm. We had an awful day one experience and didn’t not get into one of the rooms until after 8pm and customer service did not make the issue any better. After meeting with the General Manager, our experience was turned around. We were able to enjoy complimentary dinner for 2 nights, one being a private dinner on the beach. This was soooo amazing and one of the highlights of the trip. The water and views at sunset was top tier. There was plenty of restaurants and food options on the resort. The entertainment was nice but I especially enjoyed the White Party. If the recommended changes to Management and Staff are provided and they make upgrades to the elevators, I would visit this resort again. Jazz went above and beyond to make our experience memorable and Prosperity was so pleasant. Thank you!

A HUGE let down

Deshawn the bartender and Marvin from the Sports Bar were the best parts of this resort other than that, stay somewhere else. For an all inclusive resort, this was SEVERELY disappointing. I’ve stayed at multiple and have never had such a bad experience. The food options are limited yes but the hours of operation for what is open makes no sense. From 3-4 pm all you have to eat is a food truck and they run out of food EVERY DAY. The service was terrible, every single employee had an attitude. They seem like they come to work to play around and talk. And some of the workers are inappropriate and try to make passes at you EVERY DAY. Also the STEAKHOUSE ran out of STEAK. And you can barely even get a reservation to anything outside of the buffet. Then once the buffet closes all you have is the sports bars and the sports bar only serve hamburgers onion rings and hotdogs until after 11 pm ….. because that makes sense right? The bars/pool area bars closed EARLY EVERYDAY. The bartenders lie about being closed or closed early to be lazy. Also why doesn’t anybody on the resort know what they’re talking about??? You ask someone one thing and get a completely different answer from someone else… EVERYBODY we talked to felt the same way as us so we felt very validated knowing this was a collective disappointment. Please do better Royalton St Lucia.

Resort was pretty good, staff was excellent, the only issue for me is that I was given a $300 resort credit from Expedia which no one informed me about during check-in so I was not able to used it. Also I was told by one receptionist that I was supposed to get a bottle of liquor as a courtesy for booking thru Expedia and it would be bought to my room, 2 days passed no bottle came so I went back to the front desk where I was then told that no bottle was supposed to be given to me. Very confusing

Don’t waste your money here. The place so disgusting. Our room wasn’t clean. We paid for a “penthouse” and there was hair all over the floor and toilet seat, bed sheets smelled like B.O., smudged windows, spiders in the jacuzzi so that was unusable, turned inside tub jets on and they sprayed out black mold and dirt, the AC didn’t work, the electricity also didn’t work, elevator didn’t work, there’s no lunch food, room service was worse than airplane food, and all the staff were rude and acted like they didn’t want to be there. It was so bad that we had to leave after one day and go to a different resort. GROSS.

The resort is beautiful. So many lovely people working there. St. Lucía has really nice people! Improvement needed: Check in seemed really chaotic. Why print everything (everything can be done through computers), it just seemed so chaotic and long. Buffet needs fresh local fruits (soar sob, fresh mango (not the unripe supermarket stuff), fresh grapefruit, fresh papaya, etc.). Room furniture and doors need to be updated. It’s a 4.5 - 5 star resort. Make it look like that! Outdoor pools need some type fixing. However: rooms were very clean, showers clean (kept up, no mold or residue), food was very good. Beaches and outdoors very well kept.

I loved the grounds. The property was clean and the decor was 10/10. I loved the different pool and cabana options as well. We stayed in one of the Chairman suites and what an experience it was. The suite was spacious and had ANY and EVERYTHING that one could need. That room gave us access to the diamond club which was nice. The diamond club pool and separate beach was tucked away on the side of the resort and was so nice and even though children were there it was still peaceful. Our only suggestion for improvement is with the butler service. We noticed lots of other guests with butlers had more of an interactive experience with them. I’d often notice the bullets finding their guests ok the property and sitting down and conversing with them about their wants/needs. Our butler(s) were EXTREMELY nice and friendly but they didn’t go above and beyond as I felt the other butlers did. When asked for something though, they did deliver. Lastly, the food at Hunter (steakhouse) and Grazie (Italian) was not great. Calypso, the Caribbean restaurant, had THE BEST FOOD hands down. We also really enjoyed the food at ZEN, the teppanyaki restaurant. For midday eats we LOVEDDDD the food truck that’s on the grounds. The specials changed daily but everything on the menu, especially the jerk chicken, was phenominal! Sadly, we didn’t’t get to try the Tex Mex place. All in all, we had an amazing first experience staying at the Royalton and look forward to coming back!

We didn’t get all the diamond club amenities we were supposed to. They were out of a lot of things every day from gelato to dessert to steak etc. to get a reservation was like pulling teeth even though we were supposed to have preferential treatment for being in the diamond club. The only thing that separates the beach is a rope in the water etc etc etc. beautiful place the butlers we had were great just not worth the money and would not recommend

The elevator was out of order for more than one week, and we had to go up and down the stairs to get to our room located in the third floor. House keeping was not adequate because our room was cleaned up 3 out of 6 days.

I’ve stayed at several Royalton, but this particular one in St Lucia was not a pleasant visit! I put in several request to have the air in my room looked at due to my room being very warm. I couldn’t even get dressed for the day without sweating profusely. Trying to sleep was was hideous! I asked for a fan they didn’t have any! Most staff throughout the resort was rude, angry and mad! And that made it more unpleasant! The ladies at the desk was laughing when i left the office asking for the third time if someone can get maintenance to look at my air! Mind you I was in Diamond Club and spent lots of money to be there, however my two butlers were amazing they did what they could to accommodate me! So overall the resort is beautiful, the food and drinks were good, but they could use better staff! Also more lighting going to building #8. Way too dark!

Property has a great view! Great staff very friendly. HOWEVER, the food needs improvement. The food could taste better. In some situations it seemed they focused more on the presentation than the actual flavor of the food. I also wish there was more locally represented food items on the property. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay, but if the name is “the Royalton” than we need to have the food live up to the standards.
