Cozy red cottage in the countryside outside Vimmerby I SE05038

Pleasant cottage located with a certain view of the beautiful lake Juttern. The house is located in a rural environment surrounded by farms just 23 km north of Vimmerby.



On the entrance floor you will find a spacious hall and a fresh bathroom. Large and spacious kitchen with room for the whole family, living room and a bedroom. On the upper level you will find a hall with a toilet, a bedroom with a double bed with access to a balcony, where you can sit and look out over the lake. As well as a bedroom with three single beds and an adjoining room. The grounds are large where you can play soccer and other ball activities or eat cherries from the trees, when it's in season. If you want to fish, you go to lake Ören, which is about 4 km from the house where you will find the boat.



Things to see and do in the immediate area

Vimmerby is only 23 km away. Here you can go to Astrid Lindgren's World, which is a fairytale place for both young and old. Or you can visit Astrid Lindgren's Näs. Astrid Lindgren was born and raised here. This is the place where she has been inspired for many of her stories and books. You can also visit the MX World Collection, which is one of Europe's largest museums for those who like motorcycles in general and motocross in particular. They have a collection of over 350 different bikes and it is a world unique collection you can view on site. Just outside Vimmerby, you can go to Bullerbyn and you can also visit Katthult, where the Emil movies were shot. If you want to experience moose up close and also pet them, you can go to Virum moose park.



You drive to the coastal town of Västervik, which has been named Sweden's best summer town in 2020 and 2021, in 40 minutes. Here you can stroll and shop in galleries, shops and perhaps find some bargains in the flea markets, or eat a good bite of food down in the harbour. If you want to swim, you can go to the nice Lysingsbadet, which has an adventure pool. If you want to go to a good spa, you go to the fantastic Gränsö castle. You can also take a boat trip out to one of the islands in the beautiful archipelago.
