Great for a halfway stop between Melbourne and Sydney. The room was modern and clean and staff were helpful. Disappointed the pool wasn’t open and neither were any of the on-site food options as advertised.

Tumut was full…thus was our only option

We only stayed here because Tumut was full. This is a very tired old motel with a lot of maintenance required. The bed linen was clean and the mattress OK for a night. I had a nice view of the hills from my room. The toilet next door was broken so the sound of the cistern constantly running was annoying.

Friendly but showing age

Friendly staff, clean room but showing its age. Room converted from double plus single to double bed only so missing bedside table on one side. Room excellent size.

The facilities advertised on the motel sign were non existent. No dining room. The other issue was on my booking, check in was open from 12pm but the manager would not let us check in until 2pm. The reception is not manned. You have to ring a number for someone to come over. Another guest was waiting for 10 mins for someone to respond for check in.

Our stay was good. I haven't heard from watif about the closed motel Taralgon? Am I expected to pay for this? Watif made a Holliday a stressful, horrible occasion, with booking in the wrong country, a shut down motel & then trying to cancel my booking at Gundagai Garden Motor inn. I shall be contacting Fair Trading about cancelling your ability to continue in Australia!
