I had a wonderful stay at the Verdi Gzira in Malta and cannot recommend it highly enough. The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and immaculately maintained, with comfortable rooms and a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere that makes you feel at ease the moment you arrive. Everything felt thoughtfully designed, from the public spaces to the smaller details that make a stay truly enjoyable. What really sets the Verdi Gzira apart, however, is the staff. Every single member of the team was genuinely warm, welcoming, and friendly throughout my stay. Whether at reception, in the restaurant, or at the bar, the service was consistently outstanding. The restaurant and bar staff deserve special mention for their attentiveness, professionalism, and positive energy. They went out of their way to make guests feel valued, remembered preferences, and always had a smile and a kind word to share. It’s rare to find a hotel where the service feels so sincere and effortless. The team at Verdi Gzira truly elevate the entire experience and turn a great hotel into a memorable one. I would happily return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malta.

The hotel had a decent spread for breakfast and really nice view from the Balcony. Just 2 minor issues: The key cards we had were a bit funky, had to wave them at the door a couple of times for it to unlock. The shower didnt have a curtain or a separation from the rest of the washroom, so anytime you would shower, the whole washroom would get wet.

Excellent hotel staff, this hotel is central to everything you will want to do in Malta. My single room was exceptional, crisp clean with bathroom as big as the main room. The best shower facilities I have ever experienced. Though some may be put off by window view options, so check before booking, one of the quitest hotels I have stayed in,wish I could have brought home the bed pillows.would definitely recommend.

Balcony and view were amazing. Breakfast was everything you could ask for. Staff provided 5 star service. Location was excellent. Right across from the Promenade The only reason I did not give the hotel 5 stars is because of the bathroom. Very poorly designed. Shower only had a four foot wall which meant the floor was soaked after the shower. Lighting was dark and indirect, very difficult to see. Door was on a spring and would close every time automatically. Sinks were shaped and positioned such that it was impossible not to get water over the floor. Overall if you can stand the shortcomings of the bathroom an excellent hotel to stay at.

Hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. Room was very spacious and view from the balcony was fantastic. Pool on the roof whilst great can do with some TLC. Great choice of restaurants within walking distance. Ferry for trips to Gozo and Comino located just outside the hotel.

We were originally given a second floor unit with a balcony and a sea view, but there’s a restaurant bar across the street with a lot of noise at night so they were kind enough to move us to the eighth floor, which was perfect. If she go to bed early night and then upper floor would be recommended.
