All staff were very nice and helpful. Was only 15 minutes from the Halifax waterfront which was really convenient. Hotel seemed really new and freshly renovated.

Always love staying at any IHG location, and this one was convenient for what we needed for this stay. However, the hotel was under major renovations and therefore was generally dusty, loud, and unclean or disorganized in many areas. Additionally, there were construction workers arriving outside our unit as early as 6am to unload their trucks, etc. On the bright side, it's because a Staybridge Suites is being added to this location, which will be lovely, but would have been nice to be made aware that there are renovations happening ahead of arrival, just as a simple heads up, so as to not be surprised upon arrival. This location could benefit from some improvement of professionalism among staff, but an all around good stay at another IHG hotel, good breakfast, great gym, and good location to highway for excursions.

The staff were extremely kind and friendly, and greeted you each time you arrived back from a trip. The food was plentiful, they had options to fit most needs. With these prices you cannot cater to every specific requirement if people who chose not to eat the food, otherwise the prices would be exorbitant. I witnessed all types of nationalities eating the food and leaving with go bags. The beds were so comfortable.
