Not my favourite. The desk staff looked miserable and acted like helping my family was beneath them. The pool was cold, the rooms were ancient and the walls were thin.

We liked the beds and the location and Tempo coffee was great. Beyond that the hotel needs a severe refresh. Dirty curtains and windows, dirty arms on the only chair in the room, porcelain repaired chips in two spots of the actual tub. Brass coloured elevator doors were covered in fingerprints. People sleeping in bus stop across the road. Homeless asking for smokes. I travel a lot and can put up with a lot this was rough. And for what we paid…wow

1980’s lamp. It’d have felt intentional or retro but.. no.
Chair damage just get a new piece over damage

Getting old. Door to suite did not work once, sauna in ladies pool washroom did not work, pool water was cold. Automatic front door opener did not work, hard to get our bags in with the heavy door. Room was clean and the bed was nice.

Stayed for an additional night. This room smelled of smoke and seemed more dated on level 2 than 1(where we previously stayed). Staff seemed seemed vaugue and unable to help us to print of travel documentation which was frustrating. Water did not drain away in shower. Shame as the location is great.

I had no issues from check in to check out. All staff are friendly. Food was good and fresh, even the grab-and-go, as well. Children enjoyed the pool. Easy access to several restaurants, bars, Tim Hortonss, pubs etc. Boardwalk was a quick 5 to 7 min walk. Where you can spend hours. Would definately book again🙂

Front desk staff dont know their hotel and were oblivious to problems and how to solve. Could not properly direct to parking which turned out to be 3 blocks away. Terrible for anyone with mobility challenges

Disappointed in Halifax!

Tempo restaurant want open when we arrived on the Sunday. The rooms are very dated. Sink in the bathroom was clogged and took a long time to drain. AC needs an upgrade. TV still using cable and we weren’t able to access any digital platforms. Parking is expensive.
