We loved being able to book excursions directly through them. There was never a glitch to the plans, our names always on a 'list', drivers on time, greeters everywhere. Staff are super friendly and going out of their way to help you. They have a tour desk at the hotel which helped us book a day trip to Ninh Binh. Breakfast is okay, there is a limited buffet every day and you can order eggs or pancakes. Rooms are a little dated and very small, the pictures are slightly misleading. Our room was not a lot bigger than the bed itself. Centrally located in the Old Quarter. Walking distance to everything, plenty of restaurants.

The perfect hotel to stay in the old quarter. The staff are excellent, thankyou to Emma, Anna, Linda and David plus all the other staff! We have stayed here a few times and the standard is always great. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and had everything we needed. They also organised a great tour for us to Cao Bang and this was amazing. We can’t wait to come back, thankyou!

We loved our stay at the Golden Rooster, the staff are great (thankyou Emma, Anna, Linda, David and everyone else). The rooms are a great size, very clean and comfortable and the location is excellent for exploring the old quarter. Staff are always on hand and willing to assist with any query. It always feels like home and they have the best pho for breakfast! They even put together a beautiful breakfast pack for our overnight trip to Cao Bang, this trip was arranged by the hotel, highly recommend it. Thanks again and we look forward to returning soon.
